About this ebook
Although the heart is the central organ of the blood circulation; culturally it can be defined differently. We regularly use the word to refer to feelings and emotions, it is understood that it is the part of our body that generates and houses them. Likewise, we see how God, through his word, uses this term to refer to the heart as the seat of attitudes, emotions, and intelligence, where our feelings, emotions, and motivations come from.
As we see, the Bible has a broader connotation of the heart. This is what is inside; it is really what we are, what we think, it is everything that our longing for.
We can say, then, that the heart is linked to lust and the mind and significantly influences us. Thus, we can see it act actively in:

2. The understanding (Ephesians 4:18)
3. Emotions (Proverbs 15:13)
4. Our thoughts (Matthew 9: 4)
5. Our will (Acts 7:51)
6. Our conscience (Genesis 6: 5)
7. Knowledge (Romans 1.21; 2: 5)
8. The desire for evil (James 4: 3)
"When the heart fails me" is a deep study of the invisible heart of the soul. This aims to search the depths of our thoughts and thus discover the hidden intentions of the heart.
