INTRODUCTION
Getting Up Not Giving Up, authored by Leeta V. Rozzel, is the powerful story of a woman’s triumph over tragedy. Taking God at His Word allowed her to overcome the impossible and come through victorious. She resolutely stood on the scripture found in Psalm 62:6. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
From her place of victory, she wants to inspire others not to give up, but to get up and believe God for breakthrough. Holding onto the precious promises in His Word and decreeing them into being as though they already are, we can discover His will for our lives and open doors that were previously closed.
During her struggle, she discovered what you can do when you choose to trust God and surrender your all to Him. First of all, she learned that His plans were not her plans. Jeremiah 29:11 says: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
