The Alien Abduction
I was playing in my backyard alone. I was running around and having a great time when suddenly something ripped across the sky and hovered over my head. It looked like a UFO! I got really freaked out. Then a green light flashed down on me. I tried to look up and see what it really was but the light was too bright. A small spot on the back of my hand started to glow. All these years I thought that it was a birthmark. A small brown spot you can get naturally when you are born. The mark on my hand attracted me to the UFO as I was a magnet. I screamed for help but no one had heard me. What seemed weird was that no car was on the road. Even though my town which is called Daryville only consists of 500 people, it’s always a loud and busy place to be.
I couldn’t do anything other than scream at the top of my lungs going up into the UFO. When I finally got my mind straight, I looked around and saw that there were many UFOs around my community. After about a minute which felt like a century, I got into the UFO and got even more freaked out. There were five aliens inside the UFO and their skin was bluish-green. So many thoughts flew across my mind. I started screaming questions at the aliens but they just looked at me, confused. I guess none of them spoke English. They put a collar on me like I was their dog.
Take me back home what are you trying to do?
I asked.
We will take you along with your whole little town and take you to our planet,
said one of the aliens.
They had understood me. I guess the collar had something to do with that. As I was looking down upon my collar one of those aliens said, Yes, this is an English to Zyborpian translator. The name of our planet is Zyborpia.
How many countries or cities do you have in Zyborpia?
I asked pretending to be curious so the aliens wouldn’t kill me.
Just one,
another alien mumbled.
How come my birthmark was glowing when I was coming up here?
I asked being curious for real this time.
I could tell they were getting annoyed. One of the aliens said, Well you see this isn’t really a birthmark it’s a-
Silence!
roared an alien who was different from the rest. He had orange-colored skin.
He is not to know these things,
he said again.
A few minutes later I was walked somewhere by the aliens. I was blindfolded so I really didn’t know where I was going. They didn’t seem to mind accidentally
bumping me into stuff either.
I was forced to sit down on what seemed like some kind of chair. The chair felt really soft and my blindfold was taken off.
At that point, I was really scared. I don’t know why I wasn’t as scared when I entered the UFO for the first time. They attached a few pieces of metal around my head and a machine started whirring.
Then I felt like fire was running through my veins. And then I blacked out.
When I got up, one of the aliens gave me something to eat. He was a white-colored alien. He also asked me if I needed anything else.
I asked why he was so much nicer than any of the other aliens.
He didn’t say anything but pointed to a chart levitating on the wall. ‘These aliens are very high tech’ I thought.
I realized that the person that had brought me the food, was at the bottom of the caste system. I learned in 7th grade that a caste system was a way to determine how superior people were. If you were at the top of the caste system you were usually the leader or the king. If you got to the bottom, you were a worker or a peasant.
Suddenly the UFO started getting faster. I could hear the engines now. And a few moments later, the UFO’s engines completely cut out.
I was blindfolded again and taken somewhere by the aliens. I was going down a set of stairs so I thought I was getting off the UFO. Then I was walking on the squishy ground. I was walking for about 15 minutes when I was thrown down to my knees. My blindfold was finally taken off and I screamed at what I saw. It was a person on the ground who was dead. His body on one side and his head on the other. I looked up and saw somebody sitting on the throne. He was a red-colored alien so I assumed that he was the leader based on what I saw on the chart.
All rise for the holiness himself the leader of Zyborpia, Zhora,
said one of the aliens.
As weird as the name sounded it sounded familiar. There was a sound behind me. I turned around to see all the people in my town. Daryville has a population of about 500 people and all those people lived closely together. I spotted many storekeepers and Mrs. Pirth who owned a bakery was there as well. I looked through the crowd and everyone looked really weak. There was Mr. Samson who owned a mechanic garage, there was Ms. Briar who was the athletic director of Daryville. I smiled looking at the people of Daryville. Then the smile was knocked off my face when I saw my
