Introduction

The Diamond Way is a three-step process for Self-mastery through Self-remembrance that teaches students that they have a diamond consciousness with all the treasures of divine qualities within them.

The first step of the Diamond Way is to reclaim the divine qualities that we already have within. Peace, joy, intuition, loving kindness, compassion and union of the soul with Spirit are treasures within us. In the stillness of meditation, we can perceive our divine state of consciousness and what we have already been endowed with. The journey through Self-remembrance opens up the pathway allowing us to manifest these sacred qualities in our everyday life.

Conversely, the stress of the modern-day world and traumas often results in fear, doubt, confusion, remorse and anger which prevents us from accessing our Diamond Essence. Thus, the second stage of the Diamond Way, is to erase the mud of negative emotions that covers awareness of our divinity. When this mud is removed, we have full access to our infinite treasures and the true light of our divinity can shine forth to uplift and bring joy to others and ourselves.

In the third stage of the Diamond Way, we learn to access intuition so we can find and express our calling. The Creator has endowed each individual with a special gift to develop and express in creation. Through the practical keys and resources offered, we can cultivate our unique expression and offer our special talents to the world.

The Diamond Way will speak directly to your heart and soul helping you to move through obstacles and create a life of harmony, success and well being.

The Supreme Intelligence—

Master Plan and Design

Do you remember walking down a country road or lying on the grass and looking up at the stars at night in awe with the magnitude and multitude of the sea of twinkling jewel-like stars in the sky?

Scientists estimate that our physical universe is adorned with 100 billion suns spread over a billion galaxies. Can you even begin to imagine 100 billion suns over a billion galaxies? Moreover, the recently discovered Sombrero Galaxy, which is just one galaxy, has eight hundred billion suns.

Now with this overwhelming immensity, scientists are beginning to conclude that there is an awesome intelligence that has created all of this. There is the unfolding realization that there must be an intelligent design or maybe even a Supreme Divine Plan.

Scientists are discovering that this Creative Intelligence has made everything with such precision, so refined and intricate that if anything is off just a fraction of a percentage point, life on this planet could not exist, as we know it or at all.

In the Bible it states, In my Father’s house are many mansions. These many mansions include the physical realm with its billions of suns spread over billions of galaxies.

This cosmos is not limited to the material dimension alone. There is an astral realm of refined energy, that many speak of who have had a near-death experience. They speak of the beauty and harmony existing in this realm, where love reigns supreme. Then there is an even more subtle or causal realm of pure thought form where everything exists as thought ideas only.

This unimaginable all-powerful Intelligence has created this vastness of creation for some defined purpose.

I am here to propose that God is this Supreme Intelligence that created a vast creation in Its infinite all-powerful consciousness and everything that has been created is the manifestation of the Creator’s thoughts. Everything is a product of the Cosmic Consciousness.

Albert Einstein once said, I am not interested in this or that phenomenon I want to know what God’s thoughts are. If we know what God’s thoughts are then we can understand the entire mystery of this vast creation.

This Supreme Blissful Loving Intelligence or Consciousness is the source or fountainhead of everything. It is the Light or Cosmic Energy that sustains the entire universe.

This intelligence is in every particle of creation and is orchestrating the cosmic show and knows what is going on simultaneously throughout the cosmos through pure intuition. Omnipresent Consciousness does not need eyes or ears to know what is going on in Its creation–It just knows. The Supreme Intelligence does not need to reason anything out, it simply is aware of everything at every second in infinite detail.

Who put the intelligent energy or life force in a tiny seed to determine if it becomes a mighty oak tree or tiny wayside flower?

Intelligence and harmony exist everywhere. There is hunger and the Supreme Intelligence created luscious fruits and vegetables to satisfy hunger and sustain our bodies.

When I am in nature, I am in awe and overwhelmed with all the vegetation and each one reaching for and nurtured by the sun. The desire for life and growth in nature is staggering.

What intelligence designed the bodies of animals and humans? Do we grow our bodies from the first original single cell? Do we consciously think about how to digest our food and what nutrients are to be extracted from the food and where they need to go to support life?

The Supreme Cosmic Force or Intelligence is the Creator of not only the outer universe but the inner dimensions of consciousness as well. Love, peace, joy, intuition, power, strength, and courage are manifestations of the one Creative Intelligence.

We are a Creation of Supreme Intelligence

This Blissful, Loving, Ever Existing and Conscious Force or Consciousness decided to create souls made in Its image and in doing so created you and me. Thank God for that! Where would we be if the One Creator did not decide to create us?

This Loving Force and Cosmic Power took the time to think of and conceive you in Its womb of love. You are a thought in the Cosmic Mind of God and made of the essence of bliss, love, peace, and joy.

As an offspring of this Creative Force made in Its image, would you not be awesome as well? Indeed, you are.

We have simply forgotten what our divine image is and how truly overwhelmingly majestic we are. Imagine the sheer power of a Supreme Intelligence who has created billions of galaxies and that Intelligence took the time to conceive of each one of us. Our vision is very short-sighted and distorted because we have forgotten how truly great we are and the greatness that lies all around us. What a transforming discovery lies open before our receptive hearts.

Here is one of my favorite quotes from Paramahansa Yogananda, What you are is much greater than anything or anyone else you have ever yearned for. God is manifest in you in a way that He is not manifest in any other human being. Your face is unlike anyone else’s your soul is unlike anyone else’s, you are sufficient unto yourself; for within your soul lies the greatest treasure of all–God.

Since you are a creation of the Cosmic Creator the Creator intuitively knows everything about you, your past, where your consciousness is right now and is lovingly striving to move you forward in your evolutionary unfolding.

It is refreshing to realize that we have not been made from nothing or some random accident of creation. This truth is obvious to me and Darwin did not believe in this either. With the resources he had at the time, he came up with the theory of natural selection as the groundwork for his model of evolution.

We are entering a higher age of understanding. From yoga philosophy, I know that you and I and everything else is made by and are an actual piece of God Consciousness, a loving thought of Eternal Consciousness.

A wave is made of the same essence as the ocean and is an essential part of the ocean. God can be compared to the ocean and creation and our being is like the waves that although seemingly feel separate from the ocean of God contain all the attributes of Spirit. We are connected and an essential part of the Supreme Creator and Sustainer of all.

God Consciousness as unconditional love has created all souls, you and me, as equals. None are higher or lower, there are no big souls or little souls. Everyone has the same potential, and as a soul made in the image of God, we have been endowed with the same love, peace, power, and bliss that God has.

The Infinite Supreme Consciousness or if you like to think of the Creator in more personal terms as the Heavenly Father or Divine Mother has made us exactly like Him or Her.

The Creator as Supreme Consciousness being omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent has no gender but to make it more tangible for ourselves we can think of the Infinite Consciousness as a workable form as Father or Mother. For me, I like to think of the Supreme Consciousness as both the unmanifest and manifest.

While we are dreaming if we are conscious that we are dreaming we know we are not the dream but have produced it. Similarly, the Supreme Intelligence knows that It is dreaming the grand dream of creation but knows it is beyond it. So, we can think of the Creator in a personal way as the one who is manifest in the dream or the transcendental aspect as the dreamer.

In a personal way, my heart likes to think of the Supreme Intelligence or Consciousness as the Divine Mother and will sometimes use that unconditional loving aspect of God in this book. As a reflection of that infinite consciousness, it is our birthright and blessing to have the same power and capabilities as the Divine Mother to create and manifest whatever we wish.

It is uplifting to know the Divine Mother did not create any of the Masters better, greater or more special than any one of us. We all have the same potential. Even Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, or anyone else we respect and admire are not a bigger or greater soul than we are. They were perhaps conceived earlier and simply had a head start on working on their evolution and learned how to tap into their infinite potential and manifest it. Where you are right now is where Jesus, Krishna, and Buddha were standing at some point in their evolution and were going through all the same struggles and temptations. The secret of their mastery is that they simply carried on and persevered in their evolution until they knew they were divine.

In their evolution, they did not have to acquire or achieve anything. They just remembered their greatness through much trial and error and especially their meditation efforts to reclaim their divinity and offered it to the world.

You are Nothing Less Than a Piece of God

Let us take to heart the profound affirmation of Jesus, Ye are gods. Many great ones took this affirmation or something similar to heart and realized their greatness.

When Jesus said, I and my Father are one he was challenged and criticized by the Pharisees who claimed that this statement was blasphemy and how could Jesus make himself equal to God. Well, Jesus placed it back in their laps and said not only I but you too are Gods. He reminded them what was written in their own scripture in the Psalms, "ye are gods and all of you are children of the most High". Please note that I am emphasizing the word all. Does that not include everyone without exception? It may be hard to comprehend right now but that includes you right in this present moment and not in some future time or event.

When Jesus tells us, Ye are Gods he meant that we are a piece of God as a manifestation or expression of God. Yogananda explains that Jesus never claimed that he was God nor should we but what Jesus meant by quoting the Psalms is that we can claim that God has become myself. God has made everything out of Itself and therefore everything is a manifestation of God. If we want to rightfully claim our spiritualized image of God as higher states of consciousness we need to find that God image within ourselves.

Saint Catherine of Genoa accepted and realized the truth of Jesus profound statement in her own life when she proclaimed, My Me is God, nor do I recognize any other Me except my God Himself. Saint Bernard accepted the reality of, yea are gods as he affirmed this revelation; in those respects in which the soul is unlike God it is also unlike itself. Meister Eckhart concludes one of his sermons with a prayer that echo Jesus words and of the Psalms, May the God who has been born again as a man (Jesus who manifested the Christ Consciousness) assist us in this birth, continually helping us, weak men, so be born again in him as God. Amen.

If Jesus was here today and he was writing this book he would tell each and everyone one of us exactly what he said in the past, Ye are gods. You are nothing less than a piece of God-consciousness.

Jesus would also say it is wrong to consider yourself to be a sinner as this is a desecrated of the divine God nature within you. As Paramahansa Yogananda so beautifully said, It is a sin to consider yourself to be a sinner.

Ye are gods is the profound Gospel of Jesus Christ" and to each person that was receptive to him, he would say that your God-like image or the sacred Kingdom of God is within you.

Paul would affirm this spiritual truth in the New Testament when he said, No ye not that you are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells within you. Peter would also encourage us to be, partakers of the divine nature.

We can truly revere Jesus or any other great Master because they did the inner work and realized they were Gods and perfect just as the Supreme Intelligence is perfect. They demonstrated that perfection in their lives and are role models for us to follow.

I am hoping that this is just not some sentiment from the past or some lofty metaphysical truth but you grasp what this means right here and now. I am still working on it myself it is so vast and far-reaching but many have achieved this liberated state. To think that the Supreme Intelligence created billions of galaxies and is aware of what is happening in each one of them right down to the hairs on our head is mind-boggling. What is even more phenomenal
