      THE FRUIT CALLED CHARACTER

      But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,

      peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

      against such there is no law.

      —GALATIANS 5:22-23

      During the last Christmas, my wife and I bought gifts for our children. We wrapped them in nice wrappers and hung them on a Christmas tree along with other gifts. I also have a mango tree in my house, which has been there for years. During this period, it had not borne any fruit.

      When Christmas was over, the Christmas tree was removed. The mango tree, on the other hand, remained, and with time, it bore much fruit. The difference between these two trees is one bore fruit, and the other bore gifts.

      One thing about a fruit is that it endures or stays for a long time. The mango tree, which had been there for years, remained; but the Christmas tree came up quickly and went quickly.

      If we want to succeed in life, we will need the fruit called character. Without character, you can start something, and like the Christmas tree, it will not last.

      A good character makes things last. Whether you are married, anointed, or into business, you will need a good character to go the distance! Strive to develop a good character in every area of your life!

      YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY

      He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
