About this ebook
Through These Eyes
Visit my world, come inside and read various poems describing things
that I have seen, felt and experienced. You will laugh and possibly
cry, but I hope once you read them you will feel what I felt in writing
each of these poems.

Sunsets
I feel so loved, when I’m with you,
I feel there’s nothing I can’t do.
The way I feel when you hold me tight,
Lets me know, everything’s alright.
On the beach with your hand in mine,
The stars above us twinkle & shine.
The Glistening moon set on the sea,
Lets me know, you’re the one for me.
Glad I made you my beautiful Wife,
I want to share with you my life.
Together we’ll be for eternity,
Just open your heart & you will see.
Only the heart knows when it’s right,
When love is true it’s a beautiful sight.
When we’re together there’s nothing wrong,
Love with you is a beautiful song.
Spend my days with your hand in mine,
When we’re together I feel so fine.
There’s just one thing that I must do,
I want to spend the rest of my Sunsets with you.
To my Beautiful Wife Lori
From the luckiest man in the World.
All Over Again
The moon was a sliver in the dark night,
Blue lit stars made a beautiful sight.
The stillness of the night was so serene,
It was as if I was in a dream.
The night time air was crisp with a chill,
Surrounded by darkness it was very still.
A bullfrog bellowed out his lullaby,
A distant owl hooted in the night sky.
The lamplight gave off an eerie glow,
With millers & moths skittering to & fro.
The fireflies flashed in the night time air,
Then moved on, without worry or care.
At night mother earth is very much alive,
Waiting patiently as the sun arrives.
Then a brand new day starts to begin,
And she does it all over again.
Adjust Your Sail
When this world pours out to you it’s wrath,
It’s time to navigate your own path.
When life charges like a runaway horse,
We adjust our sails & alter our course.
Life will knock you down a time or two,
Getting back up is really up to you.
It’s easy to fail in this troublesome fight
When you just can’t see an end in sight.
Know that the storms, just don’t last.
So have no fear & stand fast!
Have courage to face the ill winds,
Stand tall no matter what it sends.
Fight & you will make it through,
This is something you must do.
I know at times many will fail,
Just remember to adjust your sail.
A Strange Journey
As I slept one night so serene,
It seems I had a fisherman’s dream.
Somehow I traveled back in time,
To fly fish our land in it’s prime.
There were no
