Pastor, Counselor, Lyricist, Playwright, Author and Director are among the titles associates have given to M. P. Washington, but the greatest of these, and the one she treasures most is Worshipper.

Pastor M. P. is the wife and Co-Laborer of Apostle Ronald Washington of the Christ Temple New Life Ministries located at 1000 Woodworth Blvd. Port Arthur, TX: It is here where they have labored together for twenty seven years, preaching and delivering the people of God. She is the mother of four very gifted children of whom God has ordained for great things.

Pastor M. P. is an avid reader of the Word of God; this is her twenty seventh year of reading through the precious pages of God’s Word. She is the founder of The School of the Prophets Christian Seminary which was established August 10, 1985: Many ministries have been birth through this seminary, including in the Philippines. Pastor M. P. is also the writer of the study material used in the Seminary. She holds an Associate Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Master’s in Divinity and a Doctorate in Theology.

INTRODUCTION

This will not be like any other Devotional you have read, for this is not a book that you read in your intellect. It is a Chapter in the Book of Life-YOUR LIFE. God is summoning you to a higher place of understanding. We have the blessing of the Word of God that was written by men who were under the Anointing. They did not know at the time of their writing that they were writing what would become known as the Holy Bible. The Aposlte Paul simply wrote love letters to those of whom God assigned him to minister to. He did not know that his letters would be baptized with the fire of God and save thousands of generations. His life, all the triumphs as well as the failures of his life became an open book, and so is yours. Kings, Shepherds, Judges, Warriors, even God’s enemy has a page in the book of life. Your story is life as well and it is being written by the angels. In reality the Book of Life has three parts, and they are The Old Testament, The New Testament and the Book that Jesus spoke of in heaven called the Lamb’s Book. This Book, The Lamb’s Book is the Third Book, and you are among the number characters in that book. Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Live Holy because the Angels are keeping notes. They are writing your every experience, your every failure, triumph, your every praise is being written at this very moment and one day your name will be called and the book will be opened and you will have to give an account for the things you have done. This devotional will be included in the Third Part. Read and Grow thereby. God is watching and the Angels are writing as the Saga of Holiness Continues.

MY WATCH

Hab 2:1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Hab 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Everyone in America is starting something new today. I guess we can call it the month of new birth or new beginnings. One of the greatest blessings of faith is this, your God has the power to rejuvenate, revive and even recreate your life as well as your desire all over again and again and again! Everyday in Jesus or any day in faith is a good day to start something good or start something over. Imagine a thing. Gen 11:6 And the LORD said, . . . nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. The imagination is of the heart. Start in the heart. What will you do this year that will gilorify God? Scripture reads: Act 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: King David in all of his flaws, served his generation. What are you serving your generation? Decree a thing and ensure your own success by counting up the cost for you will have to be the one who offers the first sacrifice. God said it this way: Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, How much power is at work in you? How much faith do you have in what you say that you believe? David said to hide the Word in your heart to keep you from sinning against God. He also said that if you mediate on it day and night that you shall be like a tree that will bring forth your fruit in your season. Your leaf shall not wither and whatsoever you do shall prosper. But the Word must be in your heart and you must allow it to work for you. Your heart must be charged up with passion and love. If you have unforgiveness of others and doubt then the effort will be in vain. Be passionate about what you say and do. Be passionate about love and serving God or do not waste your time. Be faithful or forget it. Be committed or accept whatever life has given you. You have the instructions. If you are not doing what you want to do, if you are not reaping what you think that you deserve do not blame others or God: If you fail or succeed is all up to you, and your level of commitment. Whatever you start, make sure you finish and glorify Jesus. Rebuke laziness, lies, procrastination, doubt, discouragement, complacency, weariness, and every other excuse. Make a plan. This is your watch know what the end will be. Do show up surprised. Write the vision and run responsibly, run dedicated, run accountable this year, live by faith! It is your watch!

PURSUE

2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Your desire is God’s opportunity to manifest His glory in the earth. Do not allow discouragement, people or even your own lack to interfere or deter you from pursuing what you are passionate about. Never focus on what you lack. Place your attention on the ability of God and do what you can, even if the only thing you can do is dream. If so, dream well. Write the dream and mediate on it. Work it out in your mind, and God will merge your thoughts with His power. The Law of attraction will draw the manifestation. Before the foundation of the earth, God has already provided the means for your passion. He has given you all things that pertain unto life and godliness… Be spiritual, think like a god. Be determined not to fail, and you won’t. God is waiting for you to come to the level of faith to embrace His sustenance. If you sit back and wait for what you think is better timing, then how will you manifest faith? Come out of your comfort zone and pursue. Pursue in the Spirit through prayer, sacrifice, offerings and supplication. Pursue in the natural as well. God will reveal to you what He has provided as soon as your faith is activated. If you have little then use what you have and do not be ashamed of it. Do not despise small beginnings. I know that you will be blessed if you do not take for granted what the Lord is saying! Consider the widow: She sought out the man of God to see in the Will of God for her life.

2Ki 4:2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. The man of God moved upon her faith, and her little became a lot. Find an anointed one, and believe the Prophet or the Prophetess and so shall ye prosper. IT’S ALL WORD. PURSUE SOMETHING GREAT.

LAWS ARE SET IN MOTION

Hos 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Hos 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

God is always thought to be just a God of mercy. Not many people consider Him to be a God of judgment, but He is. He is a God of Laws, for without Universal Laws the world would be in total chaos, and the hearts of men would totally destroy all life. God’s Laws will judge the heart of all men, and because of the consequences of sin some men turn from their evil ways. It is because His Law of Sowing and Reaping is already set in motion that whatever you do yields a harvest back to you. This is the Law but it also God’s judgment. Although He judges, He is still merciful. His thoughts toward you are still good thoughts to bring you to an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11) The question is, What is God’s Expected End for Your Life? He will manifest what is in your heart. He is a jealous God who will tare your soul from the love of other Gods. Even after He has torn you He alone can heal you. If He has smitten you, then He alone can bind you up. Why, some might ask, would a God of love tare, wound and smite those that He love. Isn’t it obvious from the scripture? The wages or should we say the result of your sin is the reason why you suffer. Job was a man after God’s own heart. God called him perfect and upright. Still, Job was torn. Why? Job was torn because of the hidden sin of his heart. Job was self righteous but he was not aware of it. He was not aware of the secret of his own heart because in his soul he loved the Lord. The soul is filled with passion and feeling, and this is good. But love is more than passion and feeling. Love is the sacrifice of life. Job was passionate toward God. He was obedient unto the Law. But only God knew Job’s heart. Only God knew that even though Job offered daily sacrifices, prayed daily, and lived the life of a Saint, that there were some things that would keep him from entering heaven. God knows what your heart needs in order to be prepared for glory. He will cause all things to work together for the good of them that love Him. God does tare but He will heal. He will heal your heart, your soul, your mind, and your flesh; don’t you think that He won’t. If you have been smitten in life, God will bind you up. One thing no man can lie about, everyone will know why he is suffering. He will also reveal to you your strengths as well as your weaknesses. If you are suffering as a result of your past deeds, know this: If you seek the Lord in truth He said, after two days He will revive you and on the third day, God will raise you up! Believe Him and go on to follow His lead.

PASSION EXCORTS THE SPIRIT

Ecc 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Every soul needs to be steadfast unmoveable and always abounding in the work of the Lord. This is what keeps your living from being in vain. If you suffer from low self-esteem it is because you have not found a work to do that accentuates who you are within. Every man’s labor will reveal his heart. Seek out knowledge, and skill. When you do count up the cost and decided what to do and at the same time decide that you will finish whatever you start. Do you have the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual strength to sustain your desire? Is the thing you are contemplating a fantasy or it is a burning desire. All burning desires possess the keys to manifestation. The first key to manifestation is passion. This type of passion goes beyond a simple liking or enjoyment. This Passion moves to the realm of what those who do not understand might call obsession. This is so because true passion binds the soul and escorts your spirit to a place where there is no such thing as time, failure or pain. This passion is your daily meat. It sustains your identity and nurtures your reason for living. Far too many people have come and gone without possessing the key of passion. The Second key will unlock your burning desires. It is the key of courage. Courage is not manifested by ignorantly moving without thinking. Courage is the ability to stand for what attributes to life and godliness despite what you see as odds against you. Courage the heart and mind binding forces and decreeing that life is worth risking to manifest the righteous desire. Reach out your hand. Find something to do that will glorify the Lord and invigorate your life. In the end, it will your works that praise you in the gate.

GOD COMMANDS STRENGTH

2Ti 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

God did not ask you to be strong. He commanded you to be strong in the most powerful thing on earth, and that is His Grace. BE STRONG IN THE POWER OF GOD. HIS GRACE IS HIS POWER. Being strong is a commandment. God has given you Grace and Faith. Even right now EVEN IF YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE WEAK OR HELPLESS, you still have access to God’s Grace and Faith. But having access is nothing until you change the way you think. You must think on good things and allow your thoughts to penetrate your heart. The heart is the chamber for Grace. But not even Grace will profit you if you do not believe. Do not be overtaken, not even by your own thoughts. Take over your mind and think on good things. Think your way our of trouble or trial. God will guide you if you have faith. You can start thinking about your desire contrary to what facts appear to be. God’s Grace will defy facts! You already have access to the strength of God. Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. If you lack strength in any area began to mediate on the Word of God. Do not become discouraged. Know this; the Word of God says that Grace is sufficient to supply all of your needs. God desires the glory that comes from you having the courage to stand and believe despite what the situation might look like. But you cannot believe and still remain in sin. Grace and Faith only works in heart that has determined to war against lusts and sin. People might know of God and know of Grace but they cannot activate it until their hearts have surrendered unto the will of God. Remember this, All of God’s Goodness Must Have a Clean Heart to Manifest In. Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Let God work in you.

STRIVE FOR THE MASTERY

Co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

2Ch 20:20 . . . Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

You must believe in the Lord if you desire your faith, your labor, your joy to be established. God has set His Kingdom in order. After you have sought God then you must seek out His Prophet. Your prosperity will be manifested by way of the Prophet. Do not wrestle with the gift of the Prophet or the Prophetess. Bring an offering and allow their gift to work for you. Believe and you will Master. Be temperate in all things and you will Master. Whatever you desire you must seek knowledge concerning it. Knowledge broadens your prospective. Knowledge reveals potential and opens the doors to understanding. Understanding will give you access to the Holy things of God. If you are to be a Master in this life then you must surround yourself with knowledge. Do not be intimidated by people who are where you desire to be. They are Lights. Learn from the gifted ones. God said Mark a Good Man. Do not be jealous of any ones gift. There is great potential in your own heart and it will take another Master of Life to bring it out of you. No one is born with knowledge. ALL KNOWLEDGE IS ACCQUIRED. JUST AS ONE PERSON LEARNS, SO CAN YOU. IF YOU HUMBLE YOURSELF, AND THE ONE UP AHEAD JUST MIGHT GIVE YOU SEED. Seek counsel concerning all things, for wisdom is found in the multitude of counsel. DO NOT ALLOW PRIDE TO HINDER WHAT YOU MIGHT RECEIVE. Accept constructive criticism from the Masters up ahead. After counsel, make your plan and present it to the Lord. But when you bring it to God, seal it with an offering. If you really want to get His full attention and full access to all of His resources bring an offering and a sacrifice. Psa 50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. It takes you making a sacrifice to engage His Promises. 2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Counsel must be from someone who walks with God. It must come from the heart that has the Spirit of Prophecy. This person does not have to have experienced the thing that you desire in order to counsel you. God will give the Holy heart wisdom to speak to you. Allow him or her to be your counselor. In the Spirit realm, God has a hole in the wall. This hole allows the Holy Heart to view all things, past, present and even future. The Prophet or Prophetess with the Holy Heart is given access to the hole in the wall. Remember, Jesus was tempted but He knew no sin. People do not have to be an X junky to instruct you about sobriety. Wise up and walk with the Horsemen. IT’S TIME FOR MASTERY.

HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH YET?

Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Things cannot become new until the old thing has lost its worth or its value.

This is a very unique saying but it is true. You must understand however, that you can have feelings about something or for someone and they have proven to be destructive in your life BUT BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT HAD ENOUGH YOU WILL CONTINUE TO ALLOW YOURSELF TO HOLD ON TO WHAT IS CAUSING YOU TO PERISH. Your flesh might value the pleasure, the person, or the thing, but your spirit man is suffering as a result of it. The old thing must be revealed as unprofitable before your heart and mind aligns with God against it. The heart might say yes, I’m tired but your flesh might be addictive. You can be addictive to the harmful things in life, even harmful relationships. Don’t allow your flesh to cause you to be vulnerable. Vulnerable people will be abused. When you think that you need something or someone and you are constantly hurting as a result of this your life is a life that is out of alignment. You must do something to change things! You will find your heart saying, give it up or separate from it but your mind will make up excuses out of fear of being without it or fear of being alone. Only when your heart and mind becomes one will you have the power to start something new. Begin to search out your own true self. Many times you hide truth from your own self. The only place to start anything is at the point of truth. Addictions, harmful relationships, attitudes, nothing will vanish until truth comes in. Make a new Covenant with yourself. Choose you over what is destroying your joy and your peace. When you’re ready in heart and mind to allow the other to vanish away, it will. Until then, all hell will seduce you over and over again. Get ready and let some things vanish away.

YOUR OWN HEART

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jer 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

I bet you never stop to examine your life. Are in where you thought you would be at this age or at this juncture of life? Did you ever consider what you would like to accomplish in life, who you would marry, where you would live or where and how you would serve God. What life did you imagine for yourself? Many people just get up in the morning without a plan, without a desire. YOUR LIFE IS A JOURNEY FILLED WITH TEST, WILDERNESS, MOUNTAINS AND EVEN A PROMISED LAND. WHATEVER YOU ENCOUNTER ON YOUR JOURNEY, YOU CANNOT OVERLOOK OR NEGLECT ANY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE. YOU MUST KNOW THAT GOD HAS ORDAINED THIS JOURNEY JUST FOR YOU. Don’t you know that at the end you will have to give an account to God for the things you have and have not done? There is too much at stake for your life to be just a chronicle of random experiences. Stop and take note of who you are and where you are at this time. Are you where God would have you to be? If you do not take note or take inventory you will loose precious time that you will never get back. DO YOU KNOW WHERE GOD WOULD HAVE YOU TODAY? God does not only govern the Spiritual Life, He also governs the life you live in the natural if you allow Him. Consider where you are today while there is time. Consider that you are in this place because it is where your faith brought you. You are and will continue to be what you believe. Even if you are unhappy, your unhappiness is a result of what you truly believe in your heart. If you are discouraged, it too is a result of the faith or the lack of faith that you have in your own heart. You can say that your desire is to be happy but if you are not in pursuit of happiness it is because you do not believe that you can accomplish it. God calls Faith the hearts nutrients. Faith wars against and defeats the carnal mind, ignorance, facts and frailty. You do not have an excuse for allowing your heart to sabotage your life. No, not as long as you can strengthen your heart in the Word of God. Let Faith come to you by hearing. Then Faith will sustain the heart and empower it to guide your life. Pick up the Word of God daily, and speak His Word out loud. Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. What’s in your heart? If you really want to know look at your labor. Look at your warfare. Look at your life.

TODAY YOU ARE IN CHARGE

Life should be considered the greatest gift. You should consider it to be such a precious commodity that you plan each day to get the maximum joy, the maximum love out of what God has given you. You should be deeper than anger, deeper than argument. When you number your days you will realize that there is no time to squander. God has given you life and Promises to ensure that you would live blessed. Choose to live blessed. Choose your friends. Choose your thoughts. Choose your labor. Choose to believe God. Choose not dwell on what hurts. Choose not to complain. Make righteous choices because they are not based on feeling or selfishness. Ask God in Jesus name for what you need, and believe that it is on it’s way. Get up and seek and you shall find. Knock on the doors of life and God will cause them to open unto you. You cannot stay home and knock. Knocking might cause you to linger at the altar. Knocking might mean that you sow into someone else’s vineyard in order to be blessed with seed. Do not end up with an excuse. Excuses are lies. Choose to manifest all that God has Promised you. YOU
