    Foreword

The medical and legal systems have become increasingly intertwined. The goal of this book is two-fold. First, to present the high yield facts in a concise and systematic manner that will allow busy medical professionals to efficiently and effectively prepare for the jurisprudence exam required for medical licensing in Texas. Secondly, to familiarize healthcare personnel with the basic legal issues they may encounter in their day-to-day medical practice.

The book has been formatted to allow for easy studying, memorization, and self-testing. The left side of each page contains the question and the right side contains the answers and legal references.
