Dedication
To my family:
Charity, Anthony and Nikolas.
Thank you for your love and support.
—Paul Caluori
To family members who have inspired me on this journey—
My stepson Justin who introduced me to the notion of cannabis as a medicine and provided me an opportunity to help those that would benefit from cannabis therapy. My dear wife, who by stepping outside of her comfort zone, allowed me to witness firsthand how cannabis can help alleviate symptoms and improve sleep. My eighty-nine-year-old father who spent a lifetime helping those in need and inspired me to help those in my sphere of influence.
—Mark Tremblay
I have so many people to thank for their friendship, support, and love throughout my journey. To the many wonderful people, I have crossed paths with since beginning as a paramedic so many years ago. I have learned something from everyone and hope their teachings are relevant in this book. To my dad who is my biggest supporter, I appreciate all you offer and do, and for always being there. To my late mother, I cannot say how much I miss you, and how I wish I could share so much more with you. Most importantly, to my family, Dawn, Alex, Reid and Morgan. My love, focus and dedication to you is never-ending. Thank you. I am so proud of each of you, and I love all of you more than you will ever know. Thanks for your love and support and always being amazing!

Foreword
If you are suffering from a medical condition and want to know if medical marijuana may be an effective treatment for you, then I encourage you to read this book.
The team at WeedWell™ is passionate about seeing people’s lives change and be impacted in a positive way. I can state from a medical professional’s point of view that the position this book takes with support and guidance is fair, responsible and safe. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of working with your health-care provider. The information, tips, tools and strategies discussed in this book follow a safe approach.
One of the most profound benefits of medicinal marijuana is its ability to reduce opiate use and soothe pain.
As a longtime emergency room physician, I can’t think of anything more profound in the utilization of medicinal marijuana than that. Producing medical marijuana in accordance with government regulations can help to assure the quality and lack of contaminants and diluents. Like pharmaceutical medications, when the bottle says there’s something specific inside it, I can be assured that what’s on the label is what’s in the bottle.
I am an actively practicing, board-certified emergency physician with over thirty years of experience working in the emergency department. I own and operate several urgent care facilities in central and south Florida. I am the Medical Director for several Fire Rescue and Emergency Medical Ambulance Services.
I know that life can be a struggle when you’re living with a chronic disease or illness. This is because every day you realize that you have another whole day of pain or suffering ahead. You don’t just want to feel better. You need to feel better. Medical marijuana may be right for you. Getting information and support in creating a treatment plan that includes medical marijuana can be a frustrating and daunting task. After reading this book, use the strategies and work with your health-care provider in designing a treatment plan that works for you.
—J. M. Adelberg, MD, FAEP
