    Elroid Diedericks is married to his lovely wife Barenise, and they have a daughter, Caryn and two sons, Ethan and Joshua. They were all born in Port Elizabeth and they have a prophetic travelling ministry called Seize The Moment Faith Ministries. Elroid and his wife have been in ministry for over fifteen years and they are passionate about mentoring young people before taking that big step of faith by getting married.

      Introduction

      Pre-marriage preparation is based on the fact that, it is important to strengthen a relationship and prepare constructively for the future challenges and conflicts which everyone will inevitably face at some point in a marriage.

      This book deals with the development of a relationship and how married couples can manage conflict – how to argue in a way that avoids certain ‘deadly toxins’ like abusive and vile language that can poison your communication with each other. We speak about the psychological and emotional effects of language – how negative words affect a person, and how they can damage the future relationship between husband and wife and even children. You will be taught the art of communicating in an affirmative way.

      It speaks to the individuals in a relationship, how they can navigate their way into a successful partnership. It will help couples to increase self-awareness, self-acceptance, strengthen their coping skills, face problems with a positive attitude, and reach a point of understanding, mutual respect and love for each other.

      Finally, this book draws positive inspiration from a spiritual perspective that can help couples make good choices within the framework of their relationship and achieve outstanding life-changing results according to God’s Word.
