    Conclusion

    Introduction

I'm an actor. I like to keep busy, and my mind never seems to stop.

I've learned (sometimes the hard way) that it's important to find those things that truly matter to you in your day-to-day life and work towards them. If you want to be happy, do something that makes you happy! In other words: follow your passion! If you are passionate about something, that becomes your motivation for staying up late at night or getting up early in the morning.

I think that's why, when I was growing up. It was always clear to me that if I was going to make it in show business. Then it wasn't going to be because of something I would read or hear on a talk show. Instead, I had to find my motivation. That's how I learned the invaluable lesson of self-motivation.

Even though I come from a close family and have some very good friends, what drives me is still finding my reasons for getting out of bed each day (and getting excited about life). Because as an actor, you can never know what lies ahead.

So what is it that drives me? What keeps me going when I'm tired, sometimes lives in the middle of nowhere, and isn't needed by anyone but myself?

Yeah. Jogging. And yet, jogging makes me feel completely alive. It gives me the greatest sense of accomplishment because it helps you keep your body in top shape (which is my job as an actor). It also gives you a great sense of freedom, which I like because freedom means space to be yourself.

Being an actor can seem like a daunting job, but I have made it work for me by focusing on the things that keep me motivated.

What has motivated me to be an actor?

I came to this field for the 6th time and after about a month of auditioning. Then, I was put in one of the biggest workshops available through the SIFF (Seattle international Film Festival). The workshop was called ‘Seattle film School.' In this space, actors were encouraged not only to act but also to prepare monologues while learning new skills such as improve and Elizabethan accents.

I am now three seasons later and still very much involved with making space in my life. I feel very blessed to have the opportunities I have and to be able to share these experiences with others who are interested.

How I came to be successful:

I was always outgoing and loved getting out in public; however, acting proved to bring out my shy inner kid. I want to think it is because if I am working on something in front of people, those people can either accept me or not, but at least they will get a good experience from that time in my acting career. This fear has been my motivator for all things that have come before this book. At SIFF (Seattle international Film Festival), I was able to keep moving forward by using a 'when you feel like giving up' mentality. At the beginning of the season, I was unsure if I wanted to try out again. I was nervous about my situation and concerned about others would think of me. But then the moment came when I thought, 'I'll quit right now or give up, but I remember feeling like 'nobody is going to tell me to quit.' So that started me thinking, 'Okay, you have a choice, give up or keep going.' From there on out, it felt like fate had placed me at SIFF (Seattle international Film Festival) in Huntsville.

The most important things that motivated me into being successful:

The most important thing that motivated me to be an actor is my love for acting.

My faith in Jesus Christ has kept me going because I truly believe he has given me a gift, and I have to share this gift with the world.

As an artist, I want to encourage everyone to follow their dreams, and if they are going through a hard time, do not forget that God is always there to help them.

I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had at SIFF (Seattle international Film Festival) in Huntsville. This is a very special place for me, and it has helped me grow into the person I am today. The people who work here are like family, and I am very happy to be surrounded by them every season. I hope that this experience has opened up doors for you and made you happy.

I have always been an outgoing person who enjoys the outdoors, but I also love to put the work in on myself. I started working out when I was 12 years old, and thanks to my family, I was able to make it a part of my life. Working out helped me gain confidence, and I no longer feel embarrassed about being alone at the gym. It's amazing what a good workout can do for your body and mind.

In the summer of 2015, a friend asked me if I wanted to help her coach her daughter's basketball team for a season. I thought it would be a great experience, and it also helped me grow in many ways.

I got a job with a landscaping company that I worked at while I was still young. I left this job when I was 16 years old, but it was very important to know how to take care of my family's garden and yard. Going back to work at the landscaping company encouraged me to continue working out, so I would not get out of shape while trying out for plays during the off-season.

Another way that I have grown since leaving my job is in the art world. I know more about art than I did when I was in high school.

This is very important to me because it helped me learn how to be good at drawing, painting, and sculpture. In addition, it taught me to challenge myself and continue growing no matter what others say about my work.

Once again, my faith in Jesus Christ has kept me going because I truly believe he helped me grow as an artist.

I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had at SIFF (Seattle international Film Festival) in Huntsville. This is a very special place for me, and it has helped me grow into the person I am today. The people who work here are like family, and I am very happy to be surrounded by them every season.

I hope that this experience has opened up doors for you
