About this ebook

Are clouds really cotton candies? Will a plant really sprout out of your tummy if you swallow seeds? Does the tooth fairy really exist? Look like childish questions, don't they? But are they actually? Are some children really special? Are You special?

Find out the answers to your questions in the book as the characters take you back into your childhood days. Let you find yourself dancing to a song that you hadn't heard in years. Listen to yourself humming as you wonder how quickly time passed by. How quickly your thoughts changed. How quickly you abandoned your teddy bear. How quickly you grew up.

    About the Author

    Foreword

As I Grew Up is a compilation of short stories, poems and essay- by a very versatile young writer Aaditya Gajra. The anthology is designed for those who are on the journey of their personal discoveries, their evolution in terms of thought process, behavior, social awareness, their challenges, and their fears. This compilation is for an adult who has already gone through the journey and is able to relate to the writer as much as it is to a teenager who is going through the evolution process, to help them understand themselves and the situation better. It surely is a must have in your collection.

    Preface

We all grow up. So do our thoughts. When I was a child, I always used to think that all cloud are cotton candies; one day I would climb up on them and eat to my heart’s content. Then I would carry it with my bare hands and bring them down. Let mom taste these candies, she will forget Cadbury and Alpenliebe.

But as I grew up, I learnt that clouds aren’t cotton candies. They aren’t lightweight either. They are made up of gallons
