#1 I used to come out to Colorado to hike and explore, but in the year of the pandemic I mostly stayed close to home. I moved back to this part of Colorado as a single father with two kids, and I was excited to see some rock art.
#2 I would go to the petroglyphs every season, snow-swept and rippled in summer heat. I would take my joys and sadnesses to them, or talk about the weather with them. I would sit on a nearby boulder and say nothing, letting the day come and go.
#3 The way a Hopi person thinks of knowledge is different from how I think of the word. It is about truly knowing something and comprehending it, something you can do with esoteric knowledge that the Hopi do not publicly share.
#4 The floating ghostmen were not ordinary people. They were made of pure spirit, and they appeared to be rising. They were from the Desert Archaic age, predating Basketmaker culture by another thousand years or more.

#1
To heal your trauma, you must be able to live fully in this world. Every day brings stress and triggers, and to know how to process, move through, and release them is to live life with ease and excitement.
#2
Everything around you is simply vibration, sound, light, and attractive and repulsive forces. The energy that animates you and me is the very animating force of the universe. It is the tiny, tiny, tiny vibrational bits of information that make up the soup of everything.
#3
You are made up of spinning bits of energy, which are called chi, qi, prana, Plancks, life force. You have the ability to change the vibration and patterns of your expression. It is easier to change things on a subatomic level before they get stuck in your body on a physical level.
#4
Trauma comes in varying degrees, but the techniques in this book work for any and all of them. Something might seem small to one person, but it might have shaken up your world more than you want to admit.
#5
Understanding how to process stress and trauma when they happen and how to build your resilience so you can process and release old traumas in the body will help you understand how to work with these energies.
#6
Energy medicine is the first medicine on the planet. It is the medicine intrinsic to your own body. It is your built-in operating system. The ancient healers and shamans and medicine men and women knew this and used it to help you heal.
