      10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) = 40 st x 13 rows

      Finished size

      Opened – 24 x 28 cm (9.44 x 11.02 in)

      Yarn over, insert hook into indicated st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook into next st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.

      Double crochet three together (dc3tog)

      Yarn over, insert hook into indicated st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook into next st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook in the 3rd st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (4 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.

      Double crochet five together (dc5tog)
