About this ebook
Whispers of the Soul speaks of words from a continued time of tearing down walls and letting the soul speak up. The last few years have been a time of working through thoughts of life, and death, of love and heartache. It has been a time to evaluate beliefs of sexuality and religion. Letting the soul push through previous beliefs and to think critically let me feel free.
Because of the growth moving forward all profits from previous poetry books will be donated.
Let your heart process,
For healing comes in waves,
And sometimes it takes time,
To unravel from the pain.
The wounds may be deep,
And the scars may still remain,
But give yourself the chance,
To let your heart reclaim.
Let the tears flow freely,
And the memories flood your mind,
For with every release,
Your heart begins to unwind.
The journey may be tough,
But the destination is clear,
To find peace and comfort,
In the love that you hold dear.
Let your heart process,
And trust in its gentle beat,
For with time and patience,
Your healing will be complete.

Since I was little I have wanted to help people in some way, wanted to make a difference somehow. I wanted people to know when they felt alone or hurt that someone did care about them, they weren’t alone. I have been going through ups and downs and finally started to just take some time to quiet my racing mind and anxieties and figured out that the Lord was saying he wanted me on a different path. It was time to start listening more to him. I started writing poetry when I was in Middle School. In High School I started trying my hand at stories. I felt that now the Lord wants me to take the dive and start getting my writing out there. Maybe something I write could help someone. Maybe by sharing some of the things that I have been through someone can feel that they aren’t the only ones to feel the way they do. I have decided to give a portion of my profits to charity. I have been in the position of needing help and I was fortunate enough to have people that could help but not everyone is that fortunate. I have decided to split it between four charities: Alex’s Lemonade, Bethlehem House, Soaring Wings Ranch and Reading is Fundamental. If you would like to make a donation to one of these charities on your own feel free to check out my page on crowdrise.com

To My Heart
As I open the book, my surroundings melt away,
And I am transported to a distant land.
The characters come alive in my mind,
Their personalities and quirks take shape as I turn each page.
My heart races as their stories unfold,
And I lose track of time,
as I am completely engrossed in their world.
The emotions that course through me is real.
I laugh along with them,
Cry at their struggles,
Rejoice in their victories.
For those fleeting moments,
I am no longer a reader but a part of their journey,
Living and breathing through every adventure alongside them.
Pages turn and the world fades away,
A portal to a world of play.
Each chapter a new journey,
Each character with their own story.
With each turn the plot thickens,
And the reader’s heart quickens.
Emotions rise and fall like a tide,
As the story takes us on a ride.
The outside world is left behind,
As the reader’s mind unwinds.
The pages rustle with each turn,
As the story’s flames continue to burn.
The clock ticks and time marches on,
But reader’s journey has just begun,
With each page being transported,
To a world of wonder.
Let the pages turn and the story unfold.
A mysterious haven were imagination reigns supreme,
A realm of enchantment that beckons with a gleam,
Where pages rustle and worlds come to life,
A treasure trove of stories, a place free from strife.
Shelves stretch endlessly, adorned with bindings of gold,
Characters leap and tales are ready to unfold,
With every turn, new adventures await,
As the mind takes flight and time stands in wait.
Within these walls, a quiet peace prevails,
A sanctuary for words that never fails,
Where thoughts are free to wander and dreams can roam,
And find a new home within this literary dome.
A daunting journey to the depths of my mind,
To confront and heal what I've left behind.
A place of vulnerability and fear,
Where I must face the pain that I hold so dear.
A path that promises growth and change,
But also threatens to unleash a range.
Of emotions and memories long buried,
Will I be strong enough, or will I just feel harried?
A safe space that offers solace and relief,
But also forces me to confront my own beliefs.
Can I truly let go of my past,
Or will it continue to haunt me, holding on fast?
A decision filled with doubt and uncertainty,
To seek help and overcome this adversity.
But will it truly lead me to a better life,
Or will it only add to my inner strife?
In the depths of my mind there’s a war,
A constant battle I cannot ignore,
