When Wings Break - Sebastian Sarapuu
Feathered Dreams in Ruin
Birds of bright feathers, glide through the air,
Dreams of the past, in colors so fair.
They whisper of joy, in winds that play,
Tales of enchantment, at the close of day.
But shadows then creep, as dusk starts to swell,
Echoes of laughter, now bids farewell.
Yet hope lingers on, in the heart’s light tune,
For every dark night, gives birth to a moon.
The Silence of Shattered Skies
Stars once bright, now flicker dim,
The night air carries a hushed hymn.
Yet still we gather, hearts intertwined,
In silence we treasure, the love we find.
Beneath the vast canvas, dreams reappear,
In whispered secrets, we hold each dear.
Shatters of light, like diamonds in guise,
In the still of the night, hope softly flies.
After the Storm of Soaring
Raindrops glisten, like gems on leaf,
Wind’s gentle hum, a melody brief.
In the wake of turmoil, peace takes a stand,
Nature rejoices, in beauty so grand.
Sunshine returns, with a radiant glow,
Fields awaken, with flowers in tow.
We dance on the meadows, sweet scents in the air,
Celebration is life, a moment to share.
A Flight Cut Short
A kite once soared in skies of blue,
With laughter's echoes, its colors flew.
But winds grew wild, the string did fray,
And dreams of flight were swept away.
From rooftops high, the children's cries,
Joined in the dance of bright sunrise.
Yet shadows masked the joyful play,
As autumn's chill took warmth away.
Surrendering to Gravity's Hold
Balloons are drifting, vibrant, light,
Their tethered strings are out of sight.
Yet one by one, they touch the ground,
A fleeting joy, lost but profound.
In laughter shared and faces bright,
The world spins on in pure delight.
We reach for stars, yet realize,
Gravity whispers, beneath wide skies.
Hopes Entangled in the Trees
In the park, where laughter rings,
Storytellers share their flings.
Children play, their hopes unwind,
In branches high, all hopes aligned.
A swing set sways, the rhythm flows,
Fleeting moments, joy bestows.
As sunlight dances on the leaves,
A tapestry of dreams believes.
Unraveled Threads of Flight
Frayed ribbons flutter in the breeze,
Whispers of tales among the trees.
Each story woven, bright and bold,
A fabric rich with dreams retold.
As twilight falls, the stars ignite,
We gather 'round in pure delight.
With every thread, a life we share,
In festive nights, we breathe the air.
The Lament of the Grounded
In fields of gold, the laughter glows,
Where dreams take flight, the joy still flows.
Yet heavy hearts, like anchors, dwell,
In
