Friends of the Rosary,
August is the month dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
It’s also the month of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother, when at the close of her earthly life, she was taken up, body and soul, into the glory of heaven. This solemnity falls on August 15th.
In the upcoming weeks, we honor beloved saints, including St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Dominic, St. Bartholomew, St. Augustine, St. Monica, St. Clare, St. Rose of Lima, St. Pius X, and St. Lawrence.
We add on August 5, Our Lady of Snow — la Virgen Blanca, and here will remember María Blanca, founder of the Rosary Network— and on August 22, Queenship of Mary.
