The staff at The fairfield have always been nice and very helpful and the only complaint we have is about room 51 which is classed as Executive but it is a standard room with a small outdated heater on the wall.
Room 25 jacuzzi doesn’t work had to phone reception to be told our kids very disappointed because of that. that also the door to hotel across from our room was locked in morning no mention of this on door had to walk round hotel to main entrance. Room perfectly clean and comfy bed

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff at the hotel were excellent, they were friendly and nothing was a problem, the food was delicious, i was staying to attend a wedding in the brig o doon hotel, so unfortunately didnt have time to use the leisure facilities. The public areas in the hotel were lovely, my room was a little dated and dark, but other than that i would highly reccomend this hotel.

Great food and really friendly staff. Also nice and clean.
Hotel excellent. Room lovely and spacious, loved to ‘big bath’. Met by a friendly male at reception on arrival. Staff all had attentive and friendly manner. Lovely clean hotel, from sitting areas to restaurants and rooms. We used the swimming pool daily for an hour with the children which they loved.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
I had a lovely room and enjoyed my stay. Clearly the hotel has been and in the process of updating, and a lot is looking very smart but some wear and tear signs are visible -and it was on the cool side. Staff were lovely and friendly, despite being busy with weddings. On that matter, I had not been told that there was a wedding when I booked and was toldnon arrival that my room was over the wedding and hoped that would be ok..... not brilliant, but thankfully I was so tired I fell asleep with the TV on to try and drown it out.
Nice hotel great staff food is good. The only downfall is it needs some updated rooms for example the mattress very bumpy and not comfortable and the heat doesn't heat up the room only a small area
What’s not to like. From checking in, where we received a warm welcome, we enjoyed our stay. Every member of staff we interacted with were really friendly. The suit was really spacious & comfortable. There were plenty of parking spaces.
We ate in the restaurant, there was a lot to choose from on the menu. The food was tasty.
We enjoyed a swim in the pool. It was handy having towels provided rather than taking the ones from the room.
The hotel was well positioned to walk to the beach.
Would recommend to anyone considering visiting Ayr.
Staff were lovely, chatty and very helpful. Hotel near to beach. Although we didn’t eat there restaurant was busy and seemed popular. No view at all from room (frosted glass!) which was a bit disappointing 😞 Room was large but decor a wee bit tired. Apart from that it was OK.
