Wonderful views
Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful area. The hotel is right on the river and very close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Rooms are good size with large bathrooms. Dervice friendly and helpful. Also is short walk to German border

Pleasant stay
We stayed here as we were visiting family in Rheinfelden. Hotel is in a perfect location beside the river. The receptionist was very friendly. The double room we had was very small but it was fine for what we needed. The twin room we booked for our children was a lot bigger. It would be nice if there was a kettle & cups in the room. Reception were happy to give us a pot of hot water so we could make a drink, there is complementary drinks in the fridge which was nice. Breakfast was good. WiFi in the hotel worked well. We had a good stay and would stay at the hotel again.

Good hotel, close to the station
Comfortable and clean hotel. Restaurant food was excellent as well, although expensive (this is Basel, so I wasn't surprised). Perhaps slightly under-staffed in that there only seemed to ever be one person managing both the restaurant and the desk (both in the evening and in the morning) but it wasn't a problem.

Great location and hotel!
Hotel location was great, right downtown. Morning breakfast buffet was wonderful with wide selection and the hotel itself was nice. The rooms were good and had great views of the river. Bathroom was good but could use a little updating. Would definitely stay there again.

I highly don't recommend this hotel
We booked this hotel on the last moment. The room specifications included king bed, which was important for us. We arrived late to the hotel, after a very unfortunate day, only to find a very small room, with a very average bed (not even close to a king size). In addition, the room had a balcony, that had access both from the room and from the floor corridor. We asked to change the room, for we didn't care much for having other guests in our balcony. The receptionist was very not helpful, saying the only option will be to upgrade the room, meaning to add more money. The manager was also present, but couldn't care less and didn't care for our problem. It seemed that since we booked via hotels.com, and not directly trough the hotel, they didn't think of us as their costumes, and didn't even remotely cared for our situation.

Small, friendly hotel on the Rhine.
This was a return visit for 4 nights to this quiet and comfortable hotel on the Rhine in the picturesque town of Rheinfelden. The staff were friendly and helpful. My single room had a balcony overlooking the Rhine and I enjoyed waking up to the sound of the flowing river before heading downstairs to a generous buffet breakfast.
