"A good cottage to stay in the middle of nowhere. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Quite roomy for our family of 4. And the living room is kind of nice; private kitchen and bath is another good things. We arrived in a rainy days. This cottage gave us the comfort feeling and restful night."

"Hi, the location was on point. It was a cozy little house. We did not have a very good experience with the owners. We were running behind schedule by 30 mins during checkout. Wanting to finish breakfast we requested if we could stay 15 mins more but were asked to leave as it was past 11:00. Not very pleasant. Overall loved the location. "

"This was a quaint cabin that we stayed in and the owner was very good with communication. This is an extremely beautiful area and allowed us to visit a beautiful town next to the area. There are several waterfalls and hiking opportunities and I believe we could’ve used a kayak if we asked, but we did not have time to do this. The kitchenette was adequate for cooking simple meals. "

"We stayed at Hótel Kría for just one night - the first night we flew into Iceland. By the time we got there we were exhausted (took a red eye from Boston, plus the dark drive to Vik and site seeing), so honestly, it's a bit of a blur. I remember the room being fine (view of parking lot) and bed comfortable, and dinner was good. Nice cocktails. The showstopper really was breakfast. I guess I didn't know what to expect but it was delicious and plentiful. Hot and warm items. "

"The location of this hotel could not be better, as it is right in the center of the downtown area. There were restaurants and shops just steps away, and you can walk to almost all of the major attractions. The concierge was consistently helpful in making suggestions and arranging bookings. Highly recommend!"

"Black Beach Suites was a beaut! It was the perfect location for a stay in Vik. Just a couple minutes from the center. We saw the Northern Lights from outside the suite and drove up the hill for a better view. FYI: The room got extremely hot at night so consider turning down the temperature before bed. Breakfast was not complementary. BBS would be best if you are staying several days and plan to make use of the kitchenette of course. You've got to try Black Crust Pizza! Some of the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of pizza. "
