Our room was disgusting. The backsplash in the shower was literally off the wall and only leaning against it. The shower is also unleveled so there is a pool of water that doesn’t drain from half of the shower. Zero ice machines in the building and no fridges in the room. The bed was atrocious and makes a ton of noise. Our blinds looked like dilapidated burlap and didn’t block any light from the super bright billboards across the street. It was ONLY convenient in location, otherwise I would not stay here again.

They charge extra and nothing is complementary the rooms is too tiny the water in shower is cold they don’t offer water coffee and no coffe machine in rooms. I was recommended this hotel and it was just perfect. You come here for the location, and it’s within a 5 minute walk of most of the Broadway theatres so was so safe and easy getting back at night after shows. I came alone as a single woman and felt very safe and secure. The room was basic but was warm and clean and the bed very comfortable. I will hopefully be able to come back to New York and stay here again.

Excellent location right in the centre of things. Friendly staff. Rooms on the smaller side but only had a one night stay so didn't mind.

The rooms are small, barely space to walk. the bathroom's tiles are dirty and rusty. The property is right in Times Square, very convenient area for tourists exploring the city. The water temperature was hot, perfect for winter. The doorman was extremely nice and helpful, just for his service I would increase the rating of this property.

My stay at OYO Times Square was an absolute nightmare, and I have the entire experience documented on video as I was filming a hotel review. From the start, I was placed in a wheelchair-accessible room with a window that wouldn’t shut properly, leaving the room freezing cold throughout my stay. This led to me catching a cold. The towels were in such poor condition that they disintegrated upon use. The room’s blackout buttons didn’t work, so I had no access to sunlight. The room itself was dusty and unkempt, with trash left behind by previous guests—a clear indication of inadequate cleaning. To add to the inconvenience, the room phone didn’t work, and the shower water alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold, with no comfortable middle temperature. Throughout my stay, the hotel staff was completely absent. At the end of my trip, the manager finally toured the room with me, apologized for the poor conditions, and took note of all the issues I had experienced. Despite this, things worsened after I returned home. Not only did I not receive my incidental deposit back, but I was also falsely accused of smoking in the room and charged an additional $400. This is an outrageous and dishonest practice. Thankfully, I documented the entire stay on video, which proves the poor condition of the room and the lack of service. This hotel is nothing short of a scam and isn’t worth even $20 a night. The only positive aspect was the location near Times Square. but not worth it.
