"This is a hotel catered to big tour groups. We encountered many such guests with terrible manners. One lady was taking photographs with her handphone inside the onsen bath and changing room. Another family (grandmother, mother and granddaughter) jumped into the onsen without showering. "Surprisingly the room was very large! I enjoyed sleeping on the foldable foam mats on the tatami mats. Despite the old look of the lobby, the room was very clean and looked like it was renovated. Downside was that the area did not have lots of food options (and only opened for lunch and dinner times). It seemed like a ghost town! However, the hotel was close to a train station and 711. The owner/receptionist was very helpful"

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."
