"It’s slow season so many things are closed, including the restaurant and other amenities. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. Mike works at the reception was very friendly and attentive. Any minor issues were corrected immediately. The whole island was very empty which is great to explore. We were lucky to have 2 dry days during this rainy season. It was nice to wake up to the gorgeous caldera view. "

"My room had a beautiful view of the Ocean and the light house. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Venetian harbor is at a short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet area. Breakfast was one of the best of our trip. Overall and excellent hotel"

"Stayed at Ira hotel, located in the Firostefani town, with my wife for 5 nights during our winter stay in Santorini. The hotel is located along the cliff on the caldera and therefore provides the most stunning views possible. Our room was the most exclusive room located at the very bottom of the hotel which granted us total privacy (no neighbors), a large hot tub and the most stunning views imaginable. "My husband and I have both traveled internationally but neither of us have ever experienced the type of gracious and considerate hotel staff. Each and every one we encountered was amazing. This was really proven when my husband, who has heart problems, had to be taken to the hospital. They arranged a car to take me (while my husband was in the ambulance) and deliver both of us back home upon release.
