"I did not like the far distance from hotel check in and the hotel parking in correlation with the casino and restaurants. It was a far walk, especially to get to the Cherokee tower. There were also no signs to direct you to the Cherokee tower, we had to keep asking employees and they would continue to apologize that there is no signage. "

"I had an amazing stay at GPI. I visited the spa and made a day out of it. It was so worth it, and so relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was super clean. I loved that I could open the window! It made sleeping so much better! I didn’t leave the resort the entire weekend. Everything I needed was right there. I’d definitely recommend to anybody! "

"We always love to stay at Hyatt House for its convenient location, business style room design and included breakfast buffet. This one is a well kept property and staffs are extremely helpful. Breakfast is about average. Free street parking or garage parking just cross the street for a small fee overnight. "

"The bed was very comfortable, easy to find light switches etc. Saw dolphins off the balcony that overlooked the beach. Beautiful views, easy beach access. Hotel is definitely older, but maintained. I had only 2 complaints. First, the door to the outside was sick and took a considerable amount of finagling to get open, and although the whole wall was windows, only the door opened so we couldn't crack a window to listen to the water. The other complaint is finding a previous occupants dirty...

"We had a wonderful three-night stay! Our room was immaculate and the beds were incredibly soft. Everything looked so new and upgraded. The shower was amazing. We had a delicious breakfast. The stone fireplace was beautiful. The staff was amazing, kudos to Anna and Ari!! They gave us tips on things to do in town and were so warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel! "

"So first off, the staff were very nice, and the property was fine. There was an incident where police were waiting on a warrant for someone across from us all night and had a yelling match back and forth. The doors/walls were uncomfortably thin in that regard. That being said, the staff took care of us and provided a full refund for our stay due to the incident since we were unable to sleep. Not the best area of town, but that's what it's like in Charlotte. Hotel was pretty nice all things...
