This was our second stay in as many months. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley which makes it very convenient for travellers arriving by train. The hotel itself is fantastic. We had a superior double both times and they are a great size. On getting to our room this time we discovered there was no bath. A quick visit to reception and our room was changed within 5 minutes. And that's the other great thing about this hotel, the staff. They are excellent and will bend over backwards to help you have an enjoyable stay.

The staff were super, the room was great (quieter one) and I loved all the toiletry supplies at each section of the bathroom, as well as coffee machine. It was great to have a float in the little pool at the end of the evening and a bonus to have a decent steam room and sauna. The location is very central. The only downside was the bed was too hard and so I hardly slept. But everything else was perfect, thanks.

This hotel was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. The fittings were luxurious. The facilities were wonderful. The location was very handy to shopping and dining and the direct access to Waverley Station was so helpful. First class stay.

The location of the hotel is very central and great! It’s near the Waverley train station which is a walking distance, and a lot of nearby tourist attractions. We were provided big and clean rooms. We can’t select different room types when booking via Expedia and had to raise this to the staff when we arrived and my request was accommodated so thank you!

Amazing hotel within the centre of the city! 5minute walk from station and other amenities. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely have a dip in the pool and make use of the sauna. Had an excellent 2 night short stay. I will definitely come back again! Thank you everyone who made my first solo trip unforgettable :)

The hotel was highly unethical with over charges..I ordered room service which came to 24pounds plus there is a 5 pounds for the tray, I was charged 32.50. I booked a spa treatment for 75 pounds cost me 90 pounds when I was leaving. The excuse was the hotel doesn't run the spa. The only reason I picked it up was because there was mix with the number of treatments the day I arrived. Several times I had to correct them, as they were charging me things I had already paid for. Disappointing, unethical, disgusting.
