Hotel was hard to find, no lights on signage or in lobby building. At checkin the card machine was broken. No explanation of amenities, hot spring pool location (again with no lights) and was not clean. Room had broken lights, FIRM mattress and broken shower towel rack. Mold growing in cracks of shower curtain. This place has charm, but needs a little work in the hospitality department.
great, we were there only for a quick night. The hot springs was closed and we were not notified so if this is important for someone, this could be a problem.
young man who checked us in was very nice. But, the room had mud chunks on the bathroom floor.
bugs in the sink, large spider on ceiling. bed was ok...but, will never return here. Ad was very midleading.
Like always, Hunters was very enjoyable. Peace and quiet. Ducks in the pond and the pool was clean, perfect for a evening swim. Friendly people.

Budget Hot Springs
The resort was built around 1925 and the outside is a bit run-down now. Inside, rooms are very clean and comfortable, and everything works. The hot springs pool is the real draw-card here, the resort was originally built around it. Hot mineral water is piped directly from the spring into the pool, and the water keeps coming and I suppose water is constantly draining out to make room for it. It's not chlorinated, just constantly refreshed hot mineral water straight from the spring - I loved it. The temperature is what you'd want in a hot jacuzzi, but it's not too hot for comfort, just very, very relaxing. I suggest that guests coming here should immediately head for the pool for a nice, relaxing soak. Pool is open from about 7am to 10pm. Would we come back? Yes, definitely.
We showed up and no one was at the front desk. had to call a cell phone number. No one answered. Then the front desk guy showed up. He was very nice. Got a room. This is where it went downhill. The room was 1000 degrees. it was 102 degrees that day. If you knew you were gonna fill all the rooms, why not have the A/C on? The room was full of gnats and spiders. The microwave barely heated anything up. The sheets were stained. The curtains on the Windows were 6 inches too short on both sides so no privacy. Every time we flushed the toilet, it made a loud, awful sound for 2 minutes. The next morning we went to shower (which is the entire reason we stayed at a hotel in the middle of a camping trip) and there was no hot water. No hot water in the shower or the sink. We checked out and were unable to find any hotel employee to complain too. I would rather sleep on the ground in the rain than stay here again.

Nice room and staff for holiday weekend
Room was large, clean and bed was good. Mgr was helpful with ice and TV remote issue. Very chill place to stay for Labor Day Weekend. Good value for $$$.
This motel is convenient and affordable, clean and comfortable. Comparable to other motels in the area but a better price. In a scenic location with pond, wildlife, and view of the hills, in a quiet, out-of-town location but only a short drive to town.
facebook page states always open , booked room at 8:58 pm online with expedia showed up at 9:05 pm only to see motel office lights being turned off knocked on door no answer called left message no response. Ended up with no room for the nite!
Ignore the outside conditions and ask to stay in the "new section". Room was huge and clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet area. No wi-fi. Price was good. Overall, it was a good place for the price.

Faded prince
This property is in a great place, with a lake, geyser (!), ducks, and fine old lodge area. There are 2 sets of rooms, with the original ones next to the lodge and the new ones by themselves. We stayed in the new ones and were very pleased with the accommodations. The property, taken as a whole, is somewhat run down. Various machines and materials are stored between the two sets of rooms, which is not attractive. The on-site bar is not open, the pool was drained and being cleaned (not available to us), and they were a bit understaffed, as the desk clerk was also the pool cleaner.
In spite of these observations, it would stay there again. This is cowboy country where the standards are different than in the city, but the rooms were spotless and comfy, so the rest is not very important. The location makes you feel good, and the air and light are wonderful.

Clean
"Resort" is a bit of a stretch. Hotel is worn but room was clean and comfortable. Good recommendation for dinner. Not close enough to walk anywhere, but only 5+ minutes to drive. For $65, well worth it.
Absolutely loved this stop on our travels. Being significantly set back from the highway made it feel more rural and peaceful. The deer and geese wandering the property added to the effect. The geyser was neat and a soak in the hot spring water pool was a great bonus.
The rooms are basic but well cared for. One of the best values of anywhere we have been.
