Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through middle to late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Majority of everything was good except my dog found a capsule on the ground next to the bed… Also part of the carpet was wet, the carpets definitely old and quite ragged. Bed was comfortable, the floor we were on was kind of noisy, lots of people coming and going in doors slamming. I do like this Hotel, as well as the staff and how friendly they are. Good blackout blinds, comfortable bed, they even offer dog beds or bowls if needed.

This is a great property to explore the Mammoth Lakes Region. Everyone was kind and helpful. The restaurant had good breakfast and dinner choices as well as cocktails and wine. It is right next to the village that has some shops and dining as well.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite which had a kitchen. It was a large and attractive suite. The mammoth Village was great too with restaurants and shops open even in the shoulder season. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back. The hiking in the area class

Good stay with one hiccup
We stayed one night at Westing Monache Resort for a short Eastern Sierra fall color trip. The hotel is quite nice, and the room is more like a studio apartment with stove top, dish washer, pots, pan, plates, and utensils. But we ate in the restaurant, which is quite good for taste, quantity, and service. Checking in was fairly quick, except they sent us to the wrong room. So, we had to go back to the front desk. They don't have any rooms with double beds, and the sofa bed was not comfortable. The free self-parking garage worked out well, and the complimentary water in the room and morning coffee in the lobby were nice.
