Upon arriving at the hotel , I was greeted as a VIP Expedia member . Ashley & Reginald at the front desk made the welcome very warm & I felt special. They offered free, freshly baked cookies at check in, but I didn’t get mine until the day before check out. They were very good nonetheless. The hotel is not the best in terms of amenities but it was comfortable enough for my husband and I. The staff is mostly friendly and our room was cleaned daily. While they do not offer room service, you can order food from their restaurant & pick it up. They also gave me a $50 food voucher. The property is next door to Atlantis & you get complimentary access (that was great). There are plenty of restaurants close by & the overall stay was very pleasant. I would recommend if you are not fussy & you would appreciate nice friendly staff.

I came home with bed bugs. I Informed the lady at the front desk when checking out and she said she would speak to the manager. I sent an email and have heard nothing yet. This is horrible and my worst nightmare come true

Pros- 1. arrived before check in time and was allowed to check into one of our two rooms. 2. Staff is friendly and helpful 3. They had security at entrances all night which made me feel safe 4. Mostly clean and updated 5. Free hot breakfast every morning 6. Very close to Atlantis - free access to Atlantis 7. Nice pool! Cons- 1. Having to go get a new wristband everyday Was kind of annoying but not difficult. No lines or anything. 2. Sometimes things were differently communicated by different front desk staff; when we first got there, a woman told me we could get wrist bands at 9:30 am - I asked another woman a few hours later and she said 8:30 am. ( it’s 8:30am) 3. No gym. I love to work out first thing in the morning and this was a bummer. You are allowed to get a punch card to you the Atlantis gym which is fabulous and about a 2” minute walk each way. 4. Gross bathrooms - needed renovation . Okay what’s bizarre is that our room itself seemed updated with nice furniture - clean etc… the bathrooms looked very grimy. Our bathroom wall had been weirdly patched up —- our towel holder was dangling off the wall with all of the screws and anchors dangling off the wall. The rack was barely hanging on… the shower itself was stained and there were weird cracks in the shower.. also our sink was severely clogged - you couldn’t brush your teeth without filling up the entire sink of water. * overall a great experience ! I was pleasantly surprised overall by this hotel!

Great place, not so expensive as the huge hotel with a casino nearby, which was only 4 minutes away walking distance . Staff was great, big shout out to Jamal at the front desk, who extra extremely friendly. Lots of shopping and food options nearby, 10 min walk to the beach.

I was apprehensive at first reading some of the reviews. Based on that I was more than surprised when I arrived. The place doesn’t smell moldy or musty. I am very allergic and didn’t notice anything in the second floor. Most of the staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast included was very good. It’s very close to Atlantis, restaurants, stores, etc. The day passes for Atlantis were great and no issues getting wristbands every day. Overall very satisfied with our stay and would stay here again.

I did not like being limited to 2 bottles of water per room, otherwise, you have to buy water from front desk. ** the TV was not working for 2.5 days out of the 4 days I was there. I would have liked to get some sort of credit for such inconvenience. I did not get to be informed about my investments, in a reasonable fashion.

If you are visiting Paradise Island, and want to go to Atlantis, you absolutely must stay here. It’s a bargain and you have full access to the Atlantis. No-brainer.

If you want to go to Atlantis on a budget, you MUST stay here! It’s hard to tell on the map, but this is right across the street from the Atlantis complex. You are inside the casino in about six minutes of walking. It takes a good 10 minutes at least to get to the waterpark. You get a pass to enjoy the waterpark or casino or anything in Atlantis. You do have to pay extra money for a few things, like swimming with dolphins or whatever, but you would have to pay extra for that if you stayed at Atlantis as well. There are grocery and convenience stores within walking distance, and some affordable dining options, like a pizzeria and a deli in the Atlantis marina. Breakfast is included and is solid. I love this place and Atlantis is a blast! I highly recommend that you stay here. The Comfort Suites pool area and bar are nice, too. I didn’t try the restaurant except for breakfast. This is the best deal I found anywhere in the Bahamas. Don’t think twice!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Cons: we were on the ground floor and the sliding door did not lock. We were able to turn the desk chair on its side and use it as a stick to lock the door but there should have been another option. For two days there was water on the floor in the sink area and we could not figure out where it was coming from. It eventually went away. The air conditioning unit was very loud and not very cold. This did seem to be a room specific problem as we could identify our room from the outside just by the air conditioner noise. We attempted to use the online reporting and request option to get batteries for the non working remote and we never got a response but asking at the front replaced the batteries right away. Sofa bed was uncomfortable. Cost for a soda at the bar seemed really high. The glass of soda was $3.50. Was listed as a can of soda on my bill but the glass didn’t even hold a whole can. Pool seemed to close early (6pm). It would have been nice to be in the water in the evening. Pros: Sofa was a comfortable sleeping surface. Bed was comfortable. Multiple pillow thicknesses to chose from. Room was cleaned daily. Bathroom has fan. Breakfast was good and only super busy one morning. Snacks and drinks available upon arrival and water replaced daily was very much appreciated. Access to Atlantis was very much worth the cost of the stay. Was impressed to see employees cleaning the walls of the ramp walk way outside. Shows care for the building.
