Great onsen in the room. Very handsome property. Food option was over at the other sister property which is slightly inconvenient and the properties are a little outside the center of Beppu.
Wonderful stay at this ryokan onsen hotel overlooking the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed watching sunrise, while soaking in our private onsen bath from the balcony of our room.
Great view and loved the onsen overlooking the sea. If possible should have better TV programme allowing international language selection. Or allow one to login into their Netflix.
It has beautiful ocean view. sparkling clean. We saw some bugs like spiders in the room and restaurant.
It was embarrassing that I couldn't choose the dinner course. even I could pay extra charge.
Omg our stay at amane gahama was beyond exceptional!! It took my breath away!! Our ocean view villa came with its own roten buro ( one hot spring bath tab outside and another inside). The breakfast buffet (included in price) was exceptional!! They had both western style, and Japanese style breakfast. They were also taking covid safety measures seriously. All guests had to wear vinyl gloves when they were going to get foods. Masks were required when we were not dining, and etc. We also ate dinner at one of their restaurants. Food there was excellent as well. The hotel staff were very nice, too. We will definitely stay at amane gahama again if we ever come back to visit Beppu:)
This was easily one of the nicest Hotels I have stayed in during all of my travels in Japan. It was hard to leave the room because it was so nice and the onsen makes you feel so good. It was a small villa and I loved every part of it. I recommend you stay here for a couple of days to really get the experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
If you want privacy and comfort, this is one of the best modern ryokans. Love how everything was well thought of. The breakfast (and other meals) was really good too (and very filling). Loved the part where each room has a private indoor and outdoor onsen as well. It was also quite convenient even if we just took the bus to and from Beppu station. Overall, we want to come back to Gahama Terrace.
This is a very nice onsen resort in a quiet part of Beppu. Everything is nicely organized by hotel and I would highly recommend this to anyone that purely want to stay in the hotel to enjoy all the hotel facilities and services.
