Beautiful hotel with overlooking views of the city. However finding the entrance to the reception was challenging. This is our first time experiencing a hotel reception desk that is not located on the main ground floor. The rooms have very comfortable beds and pillows, however the opening and shutting of door while in the toilet space was the only nuisance (very tight space) only made for a petite person to maneuver around the door. The sky spa and gym was a neat concept, but would have rather enjoyed a “sky bar” on that top floor rather than a gym area.
Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Osaka. The staff very welcoming, accommodating and whiling to help. The spa is incredible, men and women separated, and you will have to go in completely naked. You can take Breakfast in their buffet with a view of the city. The rooms, while small, are well designed, everything you need. Very comfortable bed, sheets and pillows. Pijamas and slippers provided, though a bit small for my 6’2” husband. We felt luxurious staying here!
It’s so clean and tidy and very grand when you first walk in for the hotel. We love the condition and how clean it was but the only con was the toilet was abit cramp. We aren’t big people and to close the door you pretty much have to cling to the toilet before you can. Also they overcharged us as we booked it via Expedia and when we checked in they charged us walk in fee. We notified it the day before we flew out and lucky my sis in law speaks Japanese and lives in Japan It was a big hassle as no one picked up the phone line. Had to follow-up by phone and email and finally got the refund and it would be difficult to sort this out when we have returned home.
It was a lovely stay. My room was beautiful, the staff were very kind and helpful. Train stations were nearby and it was a good location. Had a great stay.
The Good: 1) cold room fridge; 2) short walk to M subway line to take you anywhere you like; 3) nice rooms (large room by Japanese standards); 4) nice view from our room; 5) wifi worked well; 6) bed was comfortable; 7) room for our bags; and 8) ample space to hang clothing,8) quiet room (29th floor).
The excellent: the spa baths were incredible!
The not so good: the executive lounge is beautifully appointed. Combined with the views it could rank among the best - touching on Fairmont or 4 Seasons class. Adequate alcohol. BUT... the food offering didn't make sense. It is designed in the style of a charcuterie with cheese, cold cuts, olives, nuts etc but no crackers or bread or jams. Perhaps a cultural oversight? And the food supply was not maintained through the evenings.
The executives lounge hours don't make sense as it closes at 9:30 pm. Business people from North America and Europe work outside that time frame and no one wants to keep their partner up late at night answering calls and emails in room. These hours are counter to the purpose of an executive lounge -- it's for executives to work and relax in a comfortable setting.
PS bonus review. The dinner and lunch buffet were not to my taste. Western food but I will not make this a point of criticism as this is merely a question of my taste. I'd recommend checking it out before committing to breakfast
I will stay again. These comments are for the managers to improve already good service to a higher level.
Nice modern hotel situated from the 17th floor up with commanding views. Good food selection but the breakfast buffet was not well run - lack of plates and cutlery especially 15-20 mins before closing time even when more people were being let through the door.
Lovely onset from the top floo but can get busy.
This is way out of the way from main area also the Tran station is disconnected you have to tags another train to change for all main areas
No food or shopping around
Hotel staff is trained to be NON customer service
most non accommodating hotel ever
There’s is an attitude about being all that when the hotel is sub standard on all fronts
The room checking was bad most days they leave trash and unclean amenities every day
They don’t have bell boys or house jerpijg ti bring you anything you have go down to get it yourself
There’s no food or shopping in or around the hotel except the Lawson around the corner
Rooms are claustrophobic
Small room for three people with. Bathroom with no curtains or shield within the room it’s the most substandard hotel experience I have ever had and by the ways was not cheap at all one of the most expensive hotels in the area
Such a. mistake
For your money book a better and centrally located hotel other than this one that had better staff and customer service and rooms
