We had a great stay and loved that it is pet friendly. The only negative part of the stay was the mattresses, they were uncomfortable and could definitely stand to be replaced.

Dates but clean. Cute kitschy decor. The lazy river looked awesome but unfortunately it was too cold for us to swim. It is heated however. Looks like a great place to bring kids.

Overall condition of property does not justify the overall Expedia rating of 8.8 or the high nightly rate charged. Check in was hectic and slow but front desk personnel were helpful. Guest rooms in need of deep cleaning and total upgrade. Landscaping in poor condition. Breakfast was good but sitting area too small.

Hotel property is very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. Lazy river was nice and clean although I did not get in. Walgreens and Surf shop within walkable distance. Breakfast was okay, what you’d expect from hotel continental breakfast. Room was okay, as long as your standards aren’t incredibly high. Wasn’t bad for a one night stay prior to a cruise and would stay here again for future cruises.

Check-in was a nightmare. Waited 10 minutes to see the desk clerk. We were told we'd be called when our room was ready (well after check-in time). Finally gave up and went back to the check-in desk where we were told our room was ready. In the meantime, 5 or 6 other families who arrived after us got their rooms while we waited. Got to our room. It was just plain nasty. The heater in the front room only blew cold air, no heat. The bathroom floor had some green foreign substance in the grout lines in front of the toilet. The only good thing was that the bed was comfortable. We said nothing because we were only going to be there one night and it was getting late. Needless to say, a 4 star rating and an 8.8 customer satisfaction score is, in my opinion a complete joke. We probably won't be using expedia or the Beachside hotel again and will encourage others to steer clear as well.

The property is great atmosphere, great friendly accommodating staff. The room need an over haul. Bathroom and beds! Other than that, very nice! Pool, breakfast and outdoor area awesome! Very close to the beach!!

Plenty of food options nearby. Nice putt putt golf course across the street. Easy access to the beach (1 block walk). Easy drive up to Kennedy Space Center and also to Port Canaveral.

This staff was fantastic, the common areas were clean and lots to do. However the laundry room and our room need a good scrub. Bed comfortable sheets and pillow clean.
