Stayed here solely to be able to walk to Terminal 5 for an early morning flight. This would have been a higher rating if the heating had been working and the room been warmer. I ended up having to move room and even though a member of staff helped, the new room was quite a way a way and took me a while to do.

Super convenient, reasonably priced, very comfortable accommodations, just two concerns (but big ones): (1) no outlets near the bed (lamps with weird plugs couldn’t be repurposed). I usually plug in 2 or 3 things that need to be near the bed, not on the desk. (2) light controls didn’t work—all on or all off, so I slept with the lights on.

Really nice hotel at terminal T5 Heathrow. Staff are really helpful. Downside is drink and food prices, which are extortionate. You get a much better deal if you book directly with the hotel and become an Accor member. Free welcome drink for two, which is great, and room upgrades with a free mini bar. You do not get this if you book with Expedia.

Awesome property, clean and so cozy with nice tea and treats in the room. A couple of the staff seemed a little snooty, and I wish the hotel offered more convenient dining options, as we flew in at 4:00pm quite hungry and nothing was open. We ended up dining at the very high end restaurant on the property as soon as it opened at 6:00pm. It was delicious but very pricey.

Obviously you pay a premium for the convenient location of the property. The check-in experience was very slow. I can’t remember the last time I queued for ten minutes to check-in. We ate in the bar area, all very bland and underwhelming. I suppose when you have a captive audience it doesn’t really matter if the service is substandard. We won’t be back though.

Heathrow Airport’s Hidden Gem! Who knew an airport hotel could be so glamorous!?!? Delicious restaurants, beautiful spa and very accommodating staff. The Sofitel made for a once stressful trip to the airport very enjoyable and seamless. Arrive the night before an early departure and relax!

Lights wouldn't turn on when I got there, had to call staff to get them to fix. Then the lights wouldn't turn off at night, so couldn't sleep. Hot water was inconsistent. No power points anywhere convenient. I should have just slept on the airport floor.
