"Great stay at the Royal Oak very friendly staff nice room and comfortable bed. Only issue we had was the room was very warm so needed windows open consequently we were woken several times in night by noise from pub/nightclub up the road, late night revellers and traffic. Loved the area visited Snailbeach Lead Mine which was fascinating and also walked to Powis Castle."

Staff was prepared the bed linen and towel for us but all with wrinkles seems not tidy and the size was not fit. "Huge place and comfortable enough. TV has no signal and there was no sign of a wifi code and no connection that I could make, so pointless having a tv in the place as not useable.
