"This is a beautiful, peaceful property within walking distance of restaurants and shopping in Alameda. The garden is lush, the rooms are clean and well-equipped. I loved staying here! "

"Garbage disposal did not work.subtle rumbling all day and night- off and in. Not sure if it was trucks outside, the elevator or garbage shire. Not noticeable with tv on, but noticeable at night. Electronic locks were confusing. "

"The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio. It was also a bit annoying that there was a sign that you could only use 1 of each of the following at a time: the coffee machine, the microwave, and...

"This little SSF art deco home has the old quaint feel… It’s so charming and comfortable, a nice patio and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Communication with the host was fantastic.. his friendly and helpful demeanor was “ tops” If I could give more stars I would, we will definitely be back! "

"This is actually my second time writing this review; so, hopefully it goes through this time because Deanna was great and her place are great. Everything was incredibly clean and well appointed. The place has a kitchenette, it's own entrance and was in a great neighborhood. I slept great and the heater was very cozy and worked like a champ when needed. I would certainly stay again!"

"Very comfortable home in a great location in San Francisco. The host was kind enough to help us unload the car, which was wonderful when we had a grumpy baby on arrival. He gave a quick tour and showed us where the baby accessories were. He put the crib together in the room my daughter chose and was very nice. We had a great stay and enjoyed our downtime at the house."

"my stays was check in 2-May and check out 4-May, at level 12. there was some noise and knocking sound happened on 4-May from 8am onwards. so disturbing and I went down to reception to check on what's the reason. unfortunately, the staff's attitude just do not care on my enquiry, just keep answering with 'I don't know', 'maybe a construction work'.. not helpful enough to check the root cause, very disappointing. Great Staff at this fine hotel

"I was in San Francisco for a one day medical meeting at the St. Francis. 1) I arrived three hours earlier than check-in time and welcomed the offer to check in early (I don't recall that ever happening at other hotels). 2) The room was a bit warm and stuffy upon opening the door and I wished I could have opened a window, but could not. I noticed the fan (ultra quiet), turned it on and in minutes I was completely comfortable, and reminded so throughout the night. The unconditioned air contributed greately to the incredibly restful sleep I had that night. 3) I worked at the desk until dinner and when I returned I thought I would catch the news on TV, but it would not turn on. I phoned the front desk and within minutes maintenance was at my door, got everything fixed and was gone. I didn't see the invitation to "test-sleep" up to two of the ten interesting pillows offered, but will do so on my next visit. I will recommend your charming hotel to my friends, staff, and colleagues. Thank you. Robert L Stofac, M.D. "
