We have stayed here a few times on our travels to Florida because it’s dog friendly, you can walk around with your pet and feel the love for animals here! But this time was quite disappointing! Our toilet was plugged, one of our queen beds smelled gross! The beds have cover sheets on them I’m sure because of pets which we do travel with but our pets haven’t had accidents since they were puppies and they are 4 and 14yrs old! Anyway…when I went to get into one of the queen beds at night it smelled like dog feces! So bad I couldn’t even sleep in it! The cover sheet wasn’t as white as the other bed but I just figured they get alot of wear?! I can’t say the cover sheet wasn’t washed I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt but what I think might have happened was when they washed the sheets there could of been dog feces on another article of laundry and that’s where the smell came from? I did contact the hotel, they reached out to ask me more info but still haven’t heard back from them! Hotel rooms could really use some updating…very old and worn out! The main lobby area and bar/restaurant area is very nice though. And our dogs loved the large area outside to play and run around!

Room bathroom door squeezed really loud. Air conditioning unit as loud. Bar area bathrooms were both down. Had to use men’s. Then a very obnoxious women at the bar area in her pj that staff should have removed from the beginning. After an hour they did make her go to bed but it ruined our evening and trust me others too.

Stay was excellent, everything was great except the loudness of the housekeeping staff on the morning of checkout. They were unnecessarily loud, slamming things in neighboring rooms and talking very loud for 2 hours before 10am. It didnot make for a pleasant Sunday morning of rest. My wife woke up with a headache.

Fine staff and property. Good location less the heavy traffic. Attractive property. Large area in back to walk. A couple walkable restaurants nearby. Breakfast very good but expensive if you do not have complimentary access. Enjoyed the 6 night stay.
