"We had a delightful time staying in Luca and Lucia's lovely casita. They were excellent hosts very warm and welcoming and accommodating. Perfect location with easy access to beautiful nature and walks as well access to local supermercados within walking distance and the buzzy "downtown" of Valle Gran Rey offering good bakeries, fresh fish at the puerto. Also enjoyed late afternoons swimming in the warm ocean and relaxing on the playa after a long walk.Thank you too to Heike for coordinating. "

"Immaculate house in small village situated in the foothills of Valle Gran Rey. Clean comfortable with all amenities, particularly the kitchen . Our 10 week stay was delightful in many ways. The owner encouraged us to use the fruit & herbs from the garden & each morning fresh oranges to juice for breakfast was a novelty. Fresh avacados were delicious too A good hiking area with so many viewpoints, quiet, peaceful & the local people friendly We hired a car to explore this fascinating island but...

"Sehr nettes und atmosphärisches Haus, sehr kanarisch eingerichtet mit Innenhof und schönem Blick in die Berge. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell am Strand (10min). Das Haus hat einen schönen Innenhof und eine Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Ein Traum … Zur Ausstattung muss man aber sagen, dass Einiges schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, wie z.B. die Küche und die Armaturen. Die Pflanzen in den Töpfen im Innenhof sind verwelkt und es gibt Rumpelecken mit Krimskrams. Wir hätten auch eine richtige...

"Great location (once we found it, google map link was to the wrong place). Good access to small beach area, mini supermarkets and nice restaurants. It has to be said that the apartment is quite basic in terms of furniture and kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds and good black out curtains. Would not be easy to do a self catering holiday with the facilities provided. Reception member of staff very helpful."

"Problemlose Buchung, Check-in, check-out. Wohnung it fünf Betten, kleine Zimmer, aber ok. Ausstattung wie leider oft üblich: Messer, die nicht schneiden, abgenutzte Gläser, altes Geschirr - aber sonst absolut ausreichend. Sehr sauber alles. Am besten ist die riesige Terrasse - sehr schöne Aussicht. Die Lage geht so: Im oberen Teil von La Calera, zum Strand muss man schon 20 Minuten laufen und zurück dauert es wegen der Steigung länger. Alles in allem: Wir waren zufrieden."

"This home is in a beautiful place.. Valle Gran Rey. It’s minutes to the beach and minutes to the Garajoney National Park. Lots to do but easy to just stay in and relax. Balcony off kitchen is a huge plus. Only downside is WiFi only works downstairs and not up and cleaners should leave extra garbage bags in bottom of kitchen can and a bottle of spray cleaner. 10 days is a little much for 1bag. All easy fixes and certainly did not deter a fantastic stay. Home is clean and upkeep is obviously kept...

"The house is located is a peaceful part of La Gomera about 20 min walk from the centre. It's a lovely space to relax with an attractive garden and pool . There is a shop about 7 minutes walk away and you could dine at the Parador which is nearby. La Gomera is a beautiful island, wonderful for hikes or just enjoying the spectacular scenery."
