Absolutely disgusting place. Stains all over the carpet, it was like a crime scene. The shower temperature was inconsistent. The beds had no support. No AC, only cheap heater and fans. Sheets were questionable, kid woke up with pink eyes. How in the world did they get the high rating??!

Greeted by a bubbly, friendly host who shared her excellent knowledge of things to do. After a quick chat we had the afternoon, next day and food sorted. Good size room with 2 separate areas - bedroom/living area and kitchen and bathroom. For us, pillows too flat, prefer fresh milk and separate hair conditioner. Overall a very good stay.

The room is very clean, spacious and comfortable. We appreciate the staff leaving the heater on prior to arrival for late check in, which allow us to settle in and rest. The motel is close to many tourist attractions and food places. We throughly enjoy our stay.

Spacious good kitchen and a bonus have a washing machine nice and warm. Daily service would have been good - restock salt and pepper, dishwasher powder etc and the occasional fresh towel every other day.

Lady who i spoke to was good, sent me details as i was coming late and had lights and heater on which was much appreicated on a freezing night. Good sized decent shower also and comfy couch which other places lack.

This motel is easy to find on the way in to town, and walking distance to the main attractions in Wanaka (but also clearly *outside* the main area). The heaters in the room were stunningly good; wet ski equipment was very quickly. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, and sufficiently large for all my equipment. I'd be happy to stay again.
