"Fabulous hotel, lovely staff regardless of their role at the hotel. Conveniently 10 minutes taxi ride from airport. Room was outstanding and the shower/bathroom to die for. Gorgeous food, ate at hotel on three evenings and enjoyed the fresh fish on each occasion. Portions are big and it would be difficult to find better prepared food elsewhere on the Island. "This place is in very quiet area and surrounded by lovely garden and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest Fermain beach. It had a few choices of adjacent restaurants but the choice is slightly limited unless you go to St Peter’s port town. The hotel staff are all lovely and friendly and accommodated to our needs. "I stayed at La Fregate over the new year period and was looked after impeccably. The room was beautifully clean and the outlook over Saint Peter Port was stunning. "We only stayed one night over NYE due to its proximity to the event we were at so we didn’t use the hotel’s facilities. The staff were very friendly at reception and in the restaurant where breakfast was served. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The hotel room itself was clean and fine for our requirements but it was definitely in need of updating."
