"Beautiful historic hotel located right on the Rhine river and on the edge of the gorgeous old town of Stein am Rhine. The town was quaint and lovely. The room was modern and comfortable with amazing views of the river. Restaurants walkable. But the most amazing thing about this stay was the staff. So pleasant and kind. They came in special in the morning to make us breakfast and it was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back here. If you get the chance definitely stay here "

"I know this is a weird thing to comment on, but the highlight of our stay was the attendant at the front desk. He was sooo funny, personable and helpful! Even upgraded our room. I wish they'd add more pictures, because the place is much nicer than i expected based on the limited pictures. Wish we had more time to stay there and tour the area. The restaurant/ bar next store was okay. Had a smoking section, but the door was left open. I'm super sensitive to smoke so that killed the experience....

"When I entered my room (1) the door was open. It was freezing inside so I put on the heaters. One was hot instantly but since it was in front of the door and bathroom it didn’t help making the room warm. It took at least 3-4 hours until the temperature was reasonable. The other heater, under the window, made water noises the whole time until maybe 11pm. And started at 5am again. Even with earplugs and the other pillow over my head it was too noisy to sleep.
