We have just returned from staying at the Argana and loved it. The place is very clean, the staff were fantastic, the food was lovely and overall great value for money. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.
The food was amazing. Depends on your room location, some people say it’s noisy at night, if facing the road and club. Overall it’s a good hotel. The staff was helpful.
We loved our week stay at Hotel Argana. We thought all-inclusive included drinks.. it does not, not even water, so be mindful of that. There is entertainment every night, which is so fun and hosted by the nicest people. The kids had the best time! Honestly, the staff MADE the holiday! They were so nice, funny, attentive and even when there was an issue, staff literally were fast to fix it.

We were originally given a standard room,on 1st floor that had not been refurbished. After talking to reception they gave us a refurbished room on 4thfloor the next day as that according to images on Expedia was what we had booked. Also when given shower room for late departure, there were no towels. After waiting more than 15mins for towels had to leave without shower as out taxi for airport was waiting.
Our one-week stay at Hotel Aragana was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Initially, we stayed in rooms 4102 and 4104, where we encountered an issue with an unpleasant odour in the bathroom. The staff promptly addressed this by relocating us to new rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers a varied culinary experience, with a different food theme each day and a wide range of options to choose from. While water is not included with lunch or dinner, guests are welcome to bring their own. Pool towels are available for hire at 100 dirhams, with the deposit refunded upon return.
The location is convenient, with numerous taxis readily available. The fare to the souk is approximately 45-50 dirhams. There is also a mini-market nearby and familiar dining options, including Pizza Hut and McDonald’s. We also took advantage of the hotel’s hair salon and spa services, both of which provided excellent service. For families, there is a small play area for children.
One consideration for families is the surrounding area, which can feel a bit rough at night, with some beggars around.
In summary, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aragana and look forward to returning in the future.
Never have I know a 4* hotel charge to use the safe MAD20 a day/ pool towel deposit of MAD100 per person for a towel and the gym an extra MAD 50 per use per person! Left a bad taste and the staff are very rude, WiFi wasn’t strong. Budget good selection but never enough cups and bowls at breakfast and maybe at dinner.
Generally the hotel was reasonably good. Hotel is under going some construction works so there is some noise at times but nothing to disruptive. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was reasonable. Interior slightly out dated but still comfortable and accommodating. Gteat selection of food and good value for money. Shops and beach is within walking distance. Tours help desk at hotel, very helpful and informative.
Place felt very safe.
Would definitely recommend to others.
Brilliant stay and Agadir is a temarkable place to visit. A very happy customer 😀
++ clean rooms with a nice sea view, excellent customer service from both kitchen and cleaning staff. Lovely atmosphere at night with entertainment although I wished to see a bit more traditional Moroccan shows. Breakfast was good. Beach is 10 walking distance. I definitely recommend hotel Argana
- - if I have to be picky, only parking was a little small so at night it was harder to park at times other than that all good 🙌
Checking was meant to be in for 3pm however we didn’t get keys until 05:30pm… only one room ready… the AC in both weren’t working. Staff at reception were slow and did not show willingness to rectify the situation. In a crisis, such as loosing my sister-in-law, the hotel staff were no help and instead were causing my anxiety to increase by not letting us use their phone to locate her. However the cleaner Khadijah was AMAZING, she should be working at reception, she has people’s skills and was very lovely to us our entire stay.
Would never stay again at this hotel.
Please be aware city tax is higher than what is stated when you book. Ended up paying £37 instead of the £29 quoted We booked a sea view room but ended up in a suite which was large and spacious. Food can be hit and miss. Mainly chicken meat fish and pastas but they did have something to eat for everyone. Mainly french and moroccan cuisine, no chips for kids except on one day out of 6 that we stayed. The service at the resturant is slow. Setting tables and cleaning up takes forever. Have to ask several times before you get a bottle of water. There is a McDonald's and pizza hut just accross the road and a variety of other resturants that we went to when food wasnt great. There is a nightclub on either side of the hotel but luckily we were on the quieter side of the hotel so wasnt a problem for us. Beach is a 10 min walk which is exclusive for the hotel which was good. Overall a good stay but rooms do need upgrading
There was no aircon. The room was un desperate need of a refurb, the ventilation system sent all kinds of dust and particles into the room and caused my son an asthma attack which he had not had for over 10 years, we had to get an ambulance to hospital. In general, low quality, but well meaning friendly staff.

There staff was very rude they took money without my permission from my account
This is a super friendly hotel staff are very professional and the food is really good .
The hotel is super clean . It has its own private beach which is free to use and lots of sunbeds by the pool.Entertainment day and evening .
It can be very noisy at night from the surrounding nightclus and hotels and as this is a family hotel there are a lot of kids.
Would recommend as a value for money.
