"This was our second time staying here, last time was in the Summer of this year. Seeing it both during the Summer and Winter makes it feel totally different. The hotel is beautiful, the location is beautiful, and the food that’s included is top tier. We spent all day relaxing at the thermal baths and saunas, and then slept great in our comfortable bed. "
"On arrival at NALA, the friendly staff offered us complimentary prosecco and 2 free welcome cards, a scheme which gives you free transport on tram services and most local buses. Also gets you discounted entry to some attractions.
Our room (505) was immaculate, quirky, spacious and the bed was so comfy. Mountain views from the bed and living room made it extra special.
We didn't have breakfast there during our stay but noticed it was a popular choice with other guests.
Just a minute or two...
"Absolutely amazing , stunning location, hotel was so beautiful, photos don’t do it justice ! Breakfast was lovely , all that was missing was some extra pillows and tea making facilities in the room, had a nespresso machine in the room which was amazing for me but my husband only drinks tea. Can’t wait to go back! "
"Fabulous place to stay. Close to everything including public transport, shops, old town yet far away enough to be in the quiet of it.
Room was great and bed super comfortable. Breakfast was a reasonable Buffett. Would recommend to anyone as would suit any traveller "
"This hotel is unreal. Every room has a beautiful balcony overlooking either the mountains or the forest. The rooms are quiet and peaceful (amazing blackout curtains too) -- we got amazing sleep after very action-packed days. The breakfast included is extremely high quality, we loved it. Most of our evenings were spent at the hotel bar / lounge area drinking delicious dark beers from the bar and playing cards by the fire. The sauna and pool are a major highlight as well - the pool is heated and...
"This was our second time around in this amazing hotel and once again it was amazing. We had a lovely time as a couple and with our dog. The SPA is wonderful, the food tasty and the staff very friendly. We hope to be back! "
"I didn't realize this was a family hotel until we got there. It was amazing. Pool on the roof, slides, bar, hot tubs, cool off pools. AMAZING view of the alps during the day. Downstairs they have a game room for kids and pool tables. And the staff was excellent. Couple of restaurants in the building. The restaurants were good, staff was friendly and the food was good. Live music was ok guy singing was terrible. "
"Loved the location of this hotel. Easy walk from train station and located in the main square so you can walk to everything. We made sure to choose a panoramic room and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Great bar and staff very helpful. Would recommend to friends."
"Only thing I didn't like was the parking and some cobwebs in my room. That was a mess. That's the only bad part though. Workers were nice, room was nice(other than the cobwebs in bathroom), breakfast was good. The pool had a good temperature and I had a relaxing time in it. They gave you nice bath robes to wear. Also by far my favorite part: Check out it at 1130!! I would stay again for that fact alone"
"We stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the convience to skiing. The hotel was great with many breakfast options. The pool and hot tub were also nice after a day of skiing. The hotel staff was very friendly and we loved the cozy room. We will definitely be back!"
"Good location, spacious rooms. About a 10 minute walk into town and right opposite the station. Quiet hotel, very quiet rooms. Didn’t love the interior upstairs much, felt very hospital like. Good view of the mountains.
Big negative point was We stayed for 3 nights and there was no housekeeping to clean our room a single day besides on the 1st day when we asked a few times for someone to clear the bins. We mentioned the rest of the days before leaving for someone to clean but nothing was done...

For more active holidays, however, the Tirol region around Innsbruck boasts an impressive number of hiking trails.

Innsbruck - World-famous ski slopes and the awesome sights from the Bergisel Olympic Ski Jump define Innsbruck. But there’s also the old town to see, the shops to browse and the restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Well worth a stay in one of the city’s beautiful boutique hotels.
Hall – Once twice the size of Innsbruck, Hall now offers visitors tranquillity and beauty. Set at the foot of the Bettelwurf Massif, this charming city has a historic district which transports you back to the Middle Ages. The Hall Mint Museum and the Mint Tower, birthplace of the dollar, charts 500 years of mint history. For families, there are opportunities for children to become junior mint masters and plenty of child-friendly hotels.
Seefeld – This former farming village is now a major resort just outside of Innsbruck offering a wealth of winter and summer sports. The area is perfect for skiers, both downhill and cross country, but also boasts an impressive array of activities such as climbing, riding, tobogganing, alpine curling and a great selection of hotels to boot.
Wipptal Valley – A hotel in the Wipptal Valley offers lucky visitors a glimpse of unspoiled beauty and is a real draw for nature enthusiasts. Stop off along the way and sample some traditional Tryloean delicacies like Kiachl – a fried yeast dough pastry.
Stubaital Valley – Discover a world of snow and ice on the Stubai Glacier or take a hike along one of the many walking trails in the 18-mile long valley. The Stubai Rucksack Route is is one of the most beautiful but challenging routes in the Alps with some of the best mountain huts along the way.

The region is a magnet for hikers in the summer and skiers in the winter, and there is no better place to be if you want to try your hand at a vast array of sporting activities. Take the Stubaital Railway to Fulpmes and from there the funicular railway to the hiking area at Shlick 2000 for some truly panoramic trails. Take the lower terminus in winter for the skiing area with 13 miles of slopes, two toboggan runs and a high-altitude ski trail. For thrill seekers, try your hand at paragliding and hang gliding.
"This is a modern, quiet apartment, from which you can explore the old town of Innsbruck within a 15-20 minute walk. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The room was quite warm when we visited (February 2025), which the staff couldn't seem to fix, so we left a window open overnight, but otherwise everything was great. Would stay here again."

Just a minute or two walk from bus and tram stops, 10 minutes walk to the main centre or 15 mins to the train station.
Great value for money, would definitely recommend NALA. We stayed 4 nights at end of January.

"I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but felt it wouldn’t be fair. Here is a detailed review: hotel reception and facilities all get 5 stars. The restaurant has good selection of food options and quality is high but they charge 4.5 euros for tap water so 4 stars for the restaurant. I understand that this happens in Austria but in such up market hotel I expected better. They were generous with fruits and we found apple everywhere. The cafe was brilliant after ski. Peter who served us twice was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese toast and beer and it was amazing. He is friendly and helpful. 5 stars go to the cafe for sure. Spa was amazing and choices of saunas and swimming pools and also sauna program by Rita was amazing so 5 stars there. They also have nibbles at the spa which is great. We didn’t try the massage service but prices seemed reasonable. The ski hire and storage were well organized and super convenient so definitely 5 stars. Sheki at ski hire was super knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were also good and comfortable but one issue and that is what super hot. So it gets 4 stars. Room cleaning was prompt and amazing and two issues we had was fixed immediately so 5 stars there. Overall a pleasant hotel which we loved and enjoyed our time"
