Excellent hotel - great location, view, amenities and ambiance. Housekeeping services were sloppy (forgetting to put bath/hand/face towels. Did not vacuum our room once during a 5-day stay. Remaining staff and their services were excellent.

Totally disappointed with the room quality, looking old and some items were broken. When I submitted my complaint they said they dont have other options. You think you booked a 5 stars hotel but its not worth the money, i arrive with my 10 yo son very exhausted from a connection flight, it took them 50 minutes to send the luggage even after i told them we need to sleep immediately, upon arrival the phone wasn’t working i had to go back again to the lobby and ask for the luggage and the room was super cold they sent someone to fix the AC this tool another 30 mins. The furniture was stained , the marble is the toilet was also yellow stained. The electrical outlet was broken.

The location of the hotel is amazing, near the metro station and a couple of minutes away from istiklal street. Breakfast is soooo goood with varied options. Staff is very helpful and friendly

I had reserved a two bed room and they landed up giving me one bed room. They didn’t change at all saying there were no other rooms. Also the room had literally no view unlike the pictures. Extremely dirty pillows. Staff were rude. I would never ever stay at this hotel again. This is a five star hotel and I reserved it for a special occasion for my family. But nothing worked. So frustrated. I travelled to Turkey from another country to celebrate new year but the hotel completely screwed it up. Don’t get fooled by the pictures on the website or on Expedia. The room they gave us was on first floor overlooking the roof of the back of the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Taksim, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, making our stay smooth and pleasant. A special shoutout to Alican and Ahmed, who went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. The location of the hotel is another highlight. Being within walking distance of Istiklal Caddesi made it easy to explore the heart of Istanbul, with its lively shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short stroll away. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every corner of the property was well-maintained, and our room was spotless throughout our stay. Breakfast was another standout feature. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, catering to different tastes with fresh, flavorful options. The staff in the breakfast area were exceptionally trained—friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring a great start to our day every morning. Overall, the Intercontinental Taksim offers excellent service, a prime location, and wonderful amenities. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul!
