Front desk staff is very helpful. My husband's ankle was strained. Front desk lady was helping us to call doctor and provided us ice and pain killer. My husband and I are really appreciate her great help.
Nicest place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Norway. The location is idyllic and property exceptionally charming. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and our host was a delight
This was probably my favorite hotel stay ever. Petrine’s Guesthouse was wonderful and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The free breakfast was lovely and the optional dinner was exceptional. Five stars all the way.
This guesthouse is superb, if you are looking for a place with soul, friendly staff, a really great breakfast, comfortable beds in a quiet calm location this is the place for you!
Check in late without having dinner. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant has already closed. Ana helps a lot, serve us boiled eggs and breads.
The hotel is a nicely decorated old building.
Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful, quiet spot, but within striking distance of Geiranger,(approx 1/2 hour drive), so we were able to use this as a base for activities we'd planned in Geiranger and then retire to the peace and quiet in the evenings.
Friendly staff; great breakfast; exceptionally comfy bed; option for dinner in the evenings too - we really enjoyed our 2 night stay during our Norway tour!
A beautiful property. inside and out. Everything was done with a special touch.. the guest book in the bedroom, the nice menus, cute little handwritten place cards, and all the messages left throughoit. Dinner was nice, especially the trout salad. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made a special effort to explain the dinner courses when serving them. A wonderful experience we had spending the night at Petrine’s
Absolutely adorable property! Lovely service, clean, comfortable, super-quiet! My favorite stay of all the places we stayed in Norway. Food was delicious.
Great atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff! Only thing we would recommend to make our stay better would be more comfortable pillows that are more firm. It felt like the pillows provided no support.
Petrines was located in a stunning location. The staff was very good and friendly. The room was as advertised. There are no restaurants in the village, but a set 3 course meal was available at the hotel. It was overpriced and not that great.
The guesthouse is in a kind of magical setting with a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and shared spaces are beautifully furnished and unique. Wished we had a longer stay.
Amazing location, that is perfect for exploring Geiranger, cozy, clean accommodations that is full of character and charm. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend this for your stay in the area.
Wonderful hotel. We had a spacious corner room with views of the fjord and a rushing river, which was delightful to listen to at night. Nice bathtub. Great restaurant but you have to reserve dinner in advance. Very cute town. Great staff.
Like a step back in time. Very clean property, attentive staff and the views were spectacular. Check in is on ground floor, dining on 1st floor and rooms on 2nd floor.
The name of the property as guesthouse is not what was expected with guest accessible kitchen or laundry. The staffs are nice and the property is kind of out of way with limited service. The hotel has a restaurant but runs on tight schedule. The trail from the village leads to the trail head of other hikes is muddy. Otherwise the property is nice and quiet.
Excellent stay. Food is great. There’s no elevator, so the front desk guy took two heavy bags up to the room. Go on Google maps, then drive the roads up the valley and west up the hill for a surprise waterfall and pastoral farms hanging on the cliff side.
Beautiful property in a beautiful location.
We stated 1 night on our 2 week trip around Southern Norway and could have stayed much longer. If you want to get away from it all in a quiet village off the main routes this is it.
Super friendly staff and excellent 3 course dinner.
