Good quality hotel in an excellent location for Oslo city centre and all that is on offer.
It was a little strange that the check-in desk is also the bar! Further, there were times when the staff were busy elsewhere meaning both check-in and bar were unattended which was not completely satisfactory.
However, all the staff were excellent and helpful.
The hotel itself has character and the rooms and communal areas were clean & tidy.
Breakfast was good with a varied choice of hot and cold food. However, after our first day, cheesecake/sweet treat options were very limited and I wonder whether they were facing a supply issue?
Unfortunately, the kitchen was undergoing a refurbishment therefore the hotel could offer no evening meals which was a pity, but there are endless eating options outside the hotel, so it wasn't really an issue.
Overall, a good choice of hotel, in a super location, with a hearty breakfast that sets you up for a day exploring Oslo - and a fine glass of wine in the bar at the end of the day to allow you to reflect upon your days adventures!
