If you like nature and relax away from buzzy cities this is your spot, also inside the property are plenty activities to do as you are isolated in the middle of the forest. With incredible landscapes similar to Scotland this hotel was recomended for some friends who visited few years back. Staff makes your stay unforgettable. Food options are limited to Indonesian, however...

“We loved our time at Tuk Tuk Timbal Bungalows. We stayed in one of their traditional rooms, which we really enjoyed. Great menu available for all meals. Staff was super accommodating with transportation to and from Samosir. The passenger ferry will pick-up/drop-off directly at the property, so contact TukTuk ahead of time to make arrangements!”

“I didn't like that the hotel desk clerk totally ignored me when I checked in (I am American and the one who paid for my room and my guest's (who was indonesian) room and did all her conversing with him. I even asked her if she spoke English and she replied that she could. She even had my guest sign the check in form which was in MY name. She needs to be taught that the payor of the rooms is the one who needs to be addressed. ”
