Really nice and beautiful hotel. The front desk staff were great. The bar/restaurant staff not so great. Bartenders guilt trip you if you order a drink they have to make because apparently they prefer you order something they can easily pour; they’re not really good at hiding their facial expressions. Other than that, a pretty good stay overaall.

Staff was great and after found an issue with the initial room, they found us an alternative with no issue. I will say that the hotel would not be good for anyone sensitive to smells. There was very strong aromas throughout the property from the air freshener that they were using. Having to pay for parking when I am paying for the hotel is something that I also find hard to understand.

Nice resort directly on Daytona Beach Shores. Room was spacious, clean, and updated. Bathroom was large. We had a view of the ocean, which was nice. Some rooms have balconies, but we did not. In nice weather, this would be a good feature, but it was chilly, especially in the evenings and mornings, so not a drawback at this visit. Facility has a restaurant, a bar, shops, and a very nice outdoor space on the beachfront. There were firepits, seating areas, cornhole sets, and you could rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Be aware that you are charged a daily resort fee; it was around $33 a day at our visit. This seems a bit excessive for what you get, as does the parking fee of around $26 a day. There were a couple of minor issues with our room, small enough not to detract from ratings, but worth mentioning. The closet was located in the bathroom, behind the door. So if you needed a coat or anything you decided to hang up, you had to open the bathroom door, go in, then close the door, to get your item. Also, the bathroom had metal bars below the vanity top with glass shelves for towels. This was fine, but the plumbing under the sink is open and visible and not aesthetically pleasing. All in all a nice resort, especially at the price we got on Expedia. I'm not sure I would splurge at the regular prices, which don't include the resort fee nor the parking fee.

Great view, asked for room to be made up and fresh towels and it didn’t happen. Had to ask for towels when we arrived back to the room af 7pm. Had to bounce cold wings and fish @ the bar. Manager was great about it and took it off the bill along with our drinks. Spectacular view!!!

The spa and front staff was wonderful. The room was perfect and I loved that they offered yoga every morning. The restaurant and bar, was disappointing. The food and staff were great but they were definitely understaffed and I felt bad for those working. It’s a beautiful property with so much to offer. If they could attract and hire more service staff in the dining areas that would make it 5 star for sure.

Not a 4 star hotel. The advertising was misleading regarding being a 'Resort and Spa luxury hotel'. I ran into many problems and omissions, and although most things were remedied, I did not book this 3 night get-away to spend time managing disappointments. If they had called it a 3 star hotel and charged less, I would have been much happier. In the room the lamp was rusty, chair was frayed with an obvious stain, shower gel out, coffee maker did not work. Creamer was not provided in the room, you had to go downstairs to their little store to pick it up. The terrycloth robe they promise is not in the room, "Oh, you have to ask for that." The front desk staff should have informed me of so many things... the Welcome Drink was not offered. Little things, mostly... but overall, just not a 4 star hotel. The website is misleading; the hotel did not match my expectations.

The only reason I gave 4-stars for cleanliness is because my room had a weird smell. The rest of the property smelled lovely. I think a previous tenant may have used the ironing board as a changing table. Thats what the room smelled like.
