"Self check in was very easy, and they gladly held our bags because we were early. Room was a little tight/small, but it was clean. We got a smoking room for some reason, so there was a noticeable (but not too heavy) smell of smoke. They provided a room and clothing spray, which was very thoughtful and we used it often. It's located very close to the train station so it was easy to get around. The free breakfast had a great spread of Japanese foods and some Western foods."

"Location wise, its great. Close to JR Sapporo station and also underground passage is right around the corner so you can avoid the slippery road and cold weather. Staff service is great, warm welcoming smile and attitude. Lounge is also well maintained and clean"

"Very convenient with a stop right in front for the bus from the airport. The bus stop back to the airport is nearby, too. It's easy to get to the snow festival from the hotel and the breakfast was excellent."

"The staff was very professional and accommodating in every way. They went out of their way to assist in helping park my car. They were also kind enough to let us know that due to the number of individuals staying at the hotel. It would be a good idea to come earlier for breakfast, Doing the saved us a lot of time, as we left we noted the large number of folks queuing for food. The interior of the hotel is a bit older, there was construction going on during the core hours of the working day, and certain items in the room did not work like the radio that’s built into the bed. I’m not sure if this is simply due to the age of the item or the functional operational abilities. Overall, it was a great place for a quick stay in the city. "

"A great stay! Our room was very good for our needs, plenty of charging and power points for our devices, there is Netflix, food at the buffet was very tasty and substantial. The place is clean, organised and very walkable to most of the events during the Snow Festival. It is also handy to the airport bus so all in all a great place to base ourselves in Sapporo. They even gave us fresh towels each day when we opted for no cleaning service. On the last night we didn't use all of the towels to save water. Thank you so much to the staff of Sotetsu Fresa Inn, well done to all of you!"

"This hotel is fantastic! It overlooks Odori Park, which was the perfect location for attending the Sapporo Snow Festival. You literally walk out the door into the festival. The lobby / cocktail area is very hip, with fabulous views of the park and tower. Rooms were on the smaller side, but well appointed. Beautiful breakfast buffet. Highly recommend this hotel if you are headed to Sapporo! "
