"We had a two night stay, it was really great, we stayed in the old part of the Hotel which has been fully refurbished. A very clean and colourful garden smaller town that has been hit hard by the eruption of Waikare/White Island. Tourists are starting to trickle back but it will take some time for the town to get back to the bustling town it was.
