「My family and I traveled to Webster Springs for Christmas. My husband and I grew up in this area. The house is located about 2-3 miles from my parents, so the overall location was wonderful. The house is spacious, has the amenities that you would anticipate, plus it had quite a few things that were unexpected . Kara was wonderful to answer questions prior to the trip and the entire time we were there. We will definitely return!」

「The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. 「My best friend and I chose Sandstone for our annual girls trip this past Labor Day weekend. While the dirt road was semi terrifying to get there, once we arrived, we had an amazing time. The space was perfect for wine drinking and self-care we planned to do. The rain changed our plans to use the fire pit, but even with the rain we still say outside for tea. Thank you to Cheryl and Derrick! You were very communicative and made the process very easy and enjoyable!」

「Beautiful heritage house, I booked it last minute to get off the road in a snow storm.Minor irratence that the room wasn’t made up at 5:00, but I hadn’t given much notice. While it is period correct the claw foot tub just isn’t as functional as a modern shower. The rest of the house is like stepping into a time capsule. It would be a lovely place to check out in fall.」
