“This is a great place to stay if you need privacy and tranquility. There’s a pool in the back to use and a small food market close by. It’s nothing fancy but very well kept with a great, comfortable bed, hot water and privacy. ”

“The staff was awesome. Condo was an easy 2 block walk to the historic district(square outside American Trade Hotel). Location looks a little scary, but we felt safe after going in and out a couple of times. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment is very clean. It's located inside a gated previous resort. It's a 2 min walk to the beach. The beach and buildings in general are very quiet. Chris was very prompt answering our questions. We had a wonderful time”

“The condo was clean and had a great view. It would be a great place for a short stay for a couple but has minimal furnishings and utilities, not comfortable for longer stay. Condo staff are very friendly and helpful. While the condo management were very polite and promised to supply missing items we were still waiting for them when we left after 4 weeks. On the photos in the gallery the second bedroom looks to have a window but doesn’t. It is very claustrophobic when the door is closed for……

“No Communication with Host. No access to property. Not even an address to go to. Just takes your money and leaves you stranded. Don't book VRBO ! They have 3 hour wait times ( your are calling from a different country) Promises you help and escalation that never comes. I don't even bother to write more since VRBO won't approve this review anyway.”

“The apartment has wonderful beach and mountain views. It is also close to grocery stores, restaurants and golf. The Golf Town in Coronado is home to many expats living in Panama and a great place to ask questions. Highly recommend the property!!! ”

“The property is not called New Modern Ocean View - very misleading for locating the complex. Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. Many times she went beyond her call of duty. We have encountered very few Panamanians who……

“Wow! What a pleasant surprise!! We watched the sun rise and fall over the canal and watched the ships waiting to traverse. From the balcony you can watch the tide come in and go out. The condo was well appointed. We loved the rainfall shower in the master room. Master bed is very low to the floor however, it surprisingly slept fantastic. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need accept the food! Very nice having a large washer/ dryer, so we went home with clean clothes. Unit is right……

“Big, clean, and modern apartment with a beautiful rooftop pool area. The building is in a poor neighborhood just two short blocks from Casco Viejo, but we loved the local feel and opportunity to see more of real Panama City living. It feels safe with a locked entrance to the building, friendly staff at the front desk all 24 hours, and also two or three police officers parked out front 24 hours a day.
